2020 Heritage Package

I saw a heritage package option on NADA (https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2019/Ford/Mustang/Shelby-GT350-Fastback/Zip) for the 2020 GT350 and was wondering if anyone had any more information on it. I didn't see an option for a heritage package on the spec sheet when putting in my order for a 2020 GT350 at the dealer and can't seem to find any mention of it in the pamphlet or book that my dealer gave to me when I put in my order. A Google search doesn't turn up anything and Ford's configurator also doesn't seem to turn up anything. Is it an actual thing?

It's basically the classic GT350 look. Wimbledon White (which was exclusive to the legit anniversary edition 2015 MY cars) with guardsman blue over the top and side stripes.

Is there a reason why Ford didn't seem to announce that it's a thing though? I found it a bit odd how the option doesn't seem to show up anywhere but NADA.

It's a new option that was released in the updated order guide. Why didn't Ford announce it? Who knows. Look at the cluster that is the 500 launch

Its just a color change and a numbered car. I dont know how many they will make. Its available in the base and the R. It harkens back to 65. Wimbledon White blue strips

I don't know if I'm alone on this, and i certainly agree it could be a very very cool car, but wimbledon white is not that pretty. I'd love to have one just because of what it is, but....it's going to be interesting to see it on this body because color can make or break something.

I see it as a great buy for anyone like Jay Leno who has an original GT350 but only has the new brilliantly bright white GT350R. Having one that's a direct color match would be cool if you have both, otherwise the new white is a better looking color.

The one in the picture above your post looks like a convertible of some kind. Is that part of the package?

That's a 100% completely separate package from Shelby American and is not in any way related to the Shelby GT350 Heritage Edition.

It is a thread about the GT350, that guy shared an unrelated car for some unknown reason. I guess it's also a throwback designed vehicle so maybe that's why he decided to share it.
