You don't want competition seats in a ZR1? I figured they'd be standard, but I'm not completely familiar with Chevys tiers/options.Percent of M7 of total production was fairly low so getting one would be pure luck in the right color. Most remaining ones had competition seats which I didn't want.
I looked nationwide on Autotrader and there are only 11 ZR1's leftPercent of M7 of total production was fairly low so getting one would be pure luck in the right color. Most remaining ones had competition seats which I didn't want.
When you are tall, the higher bolsters in the comp seats makes entry and exit fairly difficult. I daily drive my cars except in ice so compt seats would have been tiring. You don't want competition seats in a ZR1? The first week of the discounts last December, most remaining cars were sold over the weekend. Luckily, many California dealerships are open Sunday but most people didn't understand this and I bought mine Sunday morning.I looked nationwide on Autotrader and there are only 11 ZR1's left
Should be a great straight line car - I suspect.Percent of M7 of total production was fairly low so getting one would be pure luck in the right color. Most remaining ones had competition seats which I didn't want.
Was it you or somebody else saying the ZR1s still heat soak after a few laps? That is one of the more impressive things about the GT500 that I hope holds true is that it can be beat on lap after lap and not heat soak.I am finding lots of low mileage ZR1's with a manual used for under $115K. Hmm.. So tempting..
Congrats. If there was ever a final last Hoorah, the ZR1 did it with flying colors. Nothing can touch made in America. It beat the Ford GT at VIR for the best record. Haven't heard much on heat soak for the ZR1.Was it you or somebody else saying the ZR1s still heat soak after a few laps? That is one of the more impressive things about the GT500 that I hope holds true is that it can be beat on lap after lap and not heat soak.
From what I have seen, even at higher boost, It will drop about 2mph, roughly 20hp, but then hold strong for as long as you push it. on the road for my 60-130's, at the strip, and on the dyno, all show this..Was it you or somebody else saying the ZR1s still heat soak after a few laps? Very impressive, that is a lot of power and lot of heat to handle. From what I have seen, even at higher boost, It will drop about 2mph, roughly 20hp, but then hold strong for as long as you push it. on the road for my 60-130's, at the strip, and on the dyno, all show this..
Fixed that for you and removed some of the bias from it.Congrats. If there was ever a final last Hoorah, the ZR1 did it with flying colors. Nothing can touch made in America. Max effort on the ZR1 beat a troubleshooting drive with a customer's Ford GT at VIR.
Thanks for that, wouldn't want any bias in this thread.Fixed that for you and removed some of the bias from it.
