If this has been asked before, I apologize. Has there been an actual Order Guide out for the 2020 GT350? I know there is one out for the Mustang. I don't see any GT350 info in that guide. Am I missing something?

You guys are just kidding yourself on a 2020 GT350 when most of us are still trying to get a 2019 GT350 that was ordered 6 months ago.

I think the entire production will be on the GT500.

Ford has put it in writing that the 2020 GT350 production will be 2800. The timing of that number I agree will be later in the model year.

This implies that the GT350"s that are ordered in June and manufactured this'll will be 2020"s. This makes sense because Fords big push is this marketing campaign of having the GT350 and the GT500 for she at the same time ....first year since 1970.... I also believe this will make the production run of the 2019 very limited as it began in early march and goes through June...then the 2020's start in July. In speaking with some insiders at Ford the 2019 std GT350 and R manufacturing number will be a fraction of the 2018 production then the gear up for the 2800 units for 2020. Also note the GT350 std and R numbers are lower than the target GT500 production. This will again make the Gt350 harder to get even though it may be at a $30K or more discount to the GT500. Those speculating on the changes for the GT350 2020 model can see hear that there are no changes except for adding a couple of new colors debuted by the GT500. The 'no changes" was from a previous post of a letter to Ford dealers date May 2019.

I don't know much about how the value game works with the Shelby as I've always owned Camaros. Appreciate the patience (in advance). Is there a remote chance that the 19' GT350's hold value better on a car so many years in a production run? Camaros, they shoot for big production numbers so there's very little to differentiate one from another 10 years down the road. They never end up being collectible.

Rick,
Help out the old guy here. I ordered a car in March. I was told it may get built in August. Does this mean that car will be a 2020?

The close out of the 2019 MY is 8/8/2019. Job #1 for the 2020 MY is 8/12/2019. My guess is that it will be a 2019.

I am a little worries that your dealer is not able to produce a car for you. My car was ordered on 3/7 and it is sitting in the railyard in Phoenix waiting to be delivered to my dealer.

Hmmm. Just when I thought I was out of the woods. I guess I will feel better once I have a VIN.

Your dealer gets a daily report on all his ordered cars that looks like this. Ask him to give you a copy so you know exactly where you stand. Good luck I feel your pain. The reason I am a little worried about your car is my car was an dealer stock order and not even a customer ordered car that takes priority.

If “order banks open in June” for 2020 GT350, then the dealer ordering guide should be available any day now.

Somebody please post the guide as soon as it is known to be available.

That is very unusual to say the least. In past years, the specialty Mustangs were sold with all of the other Mustangs. I don't remember any other GT350 Mustangs having a four day break in production as to model years?

I think a production glitch delayed the 2019 GT350, and there will be no differences in a 2019 and a 2020 GT350. I think I'll get a 2019 since I ordered it 6 months ago. It's no problem for me.

IMO, a car that has a 2,800 production is not rare. The entire production of 1993R, 2005R, and 2000R Mustangs are 107+ 250+ 300 or a total of 657 cars.

The "best selling F-150" and the SUV's make profits for Ford. Ford sold 900,000 F-150's in 2017 and another 900,000 in 2018. It is what gives Ford the cash to offer the GT350 and the GT500.

I thank everyone at Ford for staying with the performance cars. There are a lot of guys at Ford that got the Ford GT and the other cars made,
