Just called FP, I'm scheduled for week of 6/12. Isaac did say not to put too much stock in that date though since it's really early and scheduling might shift. We'll see.

Great to hear that scheduling dates have begun. This confirms a PM I got today from Ford Service regarding my order and COTUS returns.

"Your Mustang is currently in order processing, so it has been received and is awaiting scheduling action. Production for the new model year is expected to begin next month.

Please be advised that COTUS is in the beta stages, and has not been rolled out to the general public for this model year. I suggest checking in with us and your ordering dealership for status updates."

So at least for now we can stop wasting time checking on 2017MY orders on COTUS.

I am confused about the convenience and electronics package. They showed to be about 3K each. Together, 6K. That is less than in 2016. I also saw that in the survey in another thread it was one or the other. Is the electronics package automatically added if you order the convenience package? It still seems like a price reduction. Could this be correct?

Half of the formerly titled "Tech Package" is already included in the base car for 2017 (namely the Magneride). That's where the rest of the price for either option has gone. Now you're just picking whether you want the Recaro seats or the climate controlled/motorized seats with the Convenience vs. Electronics package. Both include Sync, Sirius, Nav, Garage door openers, etc.
