I have spoken with my dealer and they are telling me they have not received 2020 gt350/gt350r allocations yet and that they do not expect them this week...anybody have insight on when we may have more info?

I wonder if that’s related to the GT350R updates?

Curious as to when the order banks open up for the 2020 GT350s as well. I put down a small refundable deposit recently with a dealership just to reserve their single allocation of an R. I believe they went through the Shelby Enrollment program. I was given a tentative date of 8/1/19 by the dealership's Manager, and with 8/12/19 being the start of MY20 production it seems to make sense.

    How delayed were the 2019s?

Yes sir! 1 confirmed allocation. Helps that my salesman is my step dad...... The other bonus is the dealer is only about 25 miles from Flat Rock Assembly.

Nice. Anyone know what changes are actually occurring - considering a F N 5000 USD price hike from 2019 to 2020!?

I am trying to work with a out of Province (Canada) dealer to get a 2020 allocation (they have a Velocity Blue 2019 that is tentatively sold), but of course, they are not sure if they'll get an allocation or not...

    I’m curious too.

People are swearing that there are changes for the 2020 R.

Seriously? If there is NOT any I am furious with Ford for that kind of asshole price hike. Terrible business move, least from a PR perspective... enough for me not to buy any Ford product if that is what is being done here. But, we'll just have to WAIT (faithfully)...

Yes there are changes to the R. That's why there is a 6.34% price increase. Nobody knows what the changes are yet.

I know it's been border line ad nauseam - but where is the source they are infact changing / making changes to the R? And *IF* they are, lol, I sure hope it's worth the price hike! :O Again, I have a dealer not too far away (13 hours, that is easy enough for me) that is willing to give me a bit of a break on a 2019 Velocity Blue R... just hoping if I pass on it that it'll be worth waiting for 2020...

It's becoming harder for me to believe that 2020 will be the last year of the 350/350R as some have speculated (including myself)...It does not seem like Ford would make a slew of updates for the 2019 350 and follow that up with (hopefully) 5k worth of updates for the 2020 R model then ax them both after 2020...I think it may live on...Anyhoo I am working on getting an order in on a 2020 regardless!

Wondering if the 5k difference is for carbon ceramic brakes?

Not sure. I am betting that for 2021 they will INDEED make the 305 available (but WOW, the ENTIRE run of the S550 gen!? That is going to piss some early buyers off!) The other possibility is that for 2021 they discontinue and offer a manual in the GT500... But yeah, I also guess they make it for 2021 as well, which again, is too much :/ Even Rs will be all over the place.

But yeah, it DAMN WELL should have some updates!

I know the Aftermarket setup is 10K - so that could be, it's about that price range... But maybe a CF driveshaft or? Ether way, SOMETHING damn well worth the hike!

Will be interesting. The carbon ceramics were a 8K option I got on my GT4 back in 2016 so it would not surprise me at all. Makes perfect sense for this car.

Will see if I can have my salesman get any info from his rep

GT4 - jealous. I think I'll be happy with an R, a perfect mixed of street-drivable and race car... as I cannot really afford to separate the two further. I otherwise just hope whatever updates (?) they do perhaps doing, it justifies the cost. All I ask.
