I just received my base tune from Dakota. Good to hear your positive results.
He’s awesome. Had revisions back to me within a half hour of me sending him the logs.

Update #5: Lund tuning is complete.

Before: 629 rwhp/600 rwtq (3.5" blower pulley, straight 91 octane, EB 91 tune)
After: 641 rwhp/611 rwtq (3.75" blower pulley, 93 octane, Lund tune)

The car is completely stock other than MMR OPG/CS. A10 with 3.55 gears. I'm also using a .026" nitrous pill that seems to ramp up the boost smoothly.

Overall, there wasn't a big increase in power, but it's a safer boost level and the power delivery is much better. The car is way more fun to drive and I'm completely content with this power level for a street car.

Very cool. The next time these go on sale at Beefcake I getting one. Was a new belt needed for the lager pulley? Did you drive the car with the larger pulley on the EB tune?

Thanks,

Wayne

Thank's for the write-up, I am looking into Edelbrock myself. My 16 GT still has no tune but suspension setup is almost finished, next to power. And that calls for the op gears, Cantu Racing just did some OP gears in a customers pony, so I have a shop near I can rely on.

Yes, it required a 1” longer belt and the larger pulley was just fine with the EB tune and actually had better driveability.

Less boost and more power with better drive ability is a huge win!

In fact I think this is why we were so far apart I was talking about the EB tune with stage 2 93 using the 3.75 pulley... LOL....comparatively

That’s what I was referring to. EB Stage 2 93 tune with 3.75 pulley is probably the best way to run an EB tune.

Yes and earlier when I was like I just am not having that many issues with surging and stuff the disconnect was the 3.75 pulley I'm on vs your 3.50 at the time....DUH....!!!! Makes more sense now

Um, there was a big difference, u made more power with less boost, that’s an excellent gain bud

Congrats

For sure. It’s much better to drive, which is the main thing. Also, the original numbers may have been from a 7th gear pull and the new numbers are definitely a 6th gear pull so there may actually be a bigger gain.

Looks like 3.75 is the way to go with Lund.

@Patriot Six what psi does the 3.75 give you on phase 2? I know my phase 1 is much happier with the 3.5 at 9psi.
