So, how many folks - other than 5.0johnny - have actually received their '19's at this point? I've been trying to track progress of the orders where updates are made, but not everyone has stopped back in to the thread in a while.
Well there are a few known Bullitts out there, probably at least a 1/2 dozen or more.

My blend date was 7/18 so it just got built, is yours still awaiting shipment?

No cant find out a thing since the window sticker giving the blend date of June 28
Have also now got two other vin numbers for NZ Bullitts one has the same June 28 date as mine and the other is 2 days earlier. Nothing on them either so maybe all three are caught up in this rumoured magneride shortage.
Something has to give sometime?????

Have you tried the Ford Performance Vehicle locator chat? Click that link and give them your vin and they will give you the latest info. If you have a vin and blend date then you are not held up in the magneride shortage. They only schedule cars for the parts they have.

I would guess the shipping to NZ is the hold up. Not sure how they ship cars out of the US, but I have seen how they ship cars here from Japan, China, and Europe. They have large ships designed to hold cars. Maybe they have to wait till there is enough cars to make that ship make money. Not sure if they can stuff it in a container box and ship that way.

Quick question, how long did it take to get your VIN after ordering. I placed my order a couple of weeks ago and wanted an idea when I should be seeing it. Thanks!

I placed mine middle June and still haven't gotten mine yet. Once the specs have been accepted as ready to build you will get a scheduled to week and vin.

Placed my order 2018-04-18 and had my VIN 2018-05-07.

Having said that, it would appear that each car can have a very different trip through the process. On 2018-06-20 mine showed "In Order Processing" completed 2018-06-18 and "In Production" with an EDD of 2018-07-30. Now shows "In Production" completed on 2018-07-18 and "Awaiting Shipment" with an EDD of 2018-08-13.

I know lots of folks have been upset with COTUS, and certainly I wish it were spitting out the info I wanted and updating every day, but AFAIK it is the best of any manufacturer so we should at least be happy that we can access the information we can. From what I understand, most all others don't have anything, let alone something that allows you to get the detail, window-sticker, etc., that COTUS does.

I placed my order 04-03-18 and I'm still unscheduled- clean. I'm not sure what to do? I found a 2019 very similar to mine on a nearby lot. I might just have them dealer swap and get that one for me.

No, we havent got that far yet
The Mustangs for Tahiti NZ and Australia come out of Baltimore , and through the Panama canal into the pacific. The shipping time from Baltimore to NZ is about 28 days.Ford NZ expects the 1st bullitts here in October and I have checked the Wallenius Wilhelsen website for shipping and they have about 3 car carriers due here that month.
I think my Bullitt is stuck at Flatrock somewhere probably with a family of mice making a home in it
Cotus shows nothing at all

Can’t believe it’s finally here! I live quite close to my dealer and was driving by on my way to Walmart. Saw an auto transport truck unloading cars and noticed a Mustang had just been unloaded that looked similar to mine. I swung around and pulled in to check. I wasn’t expecting it for awhile as my last COTUS EDD (before it disappeared on Sunday) was 8/17. Well, I can’t believe it! It is my car.

Wish I had driven by 10 minutes earlier and I could have videoed the actual unloading. Picking it up tomorrow morning. And I am taking it dirty and will do my own detailing.

Only 3.1 miles on it so no joy riding at the factory or the rail yards!

I'm as relieved as you are it only had 3 miles. I would have felt bad for talking about it being driven.

The order process is maddening. Ordered May 8. In order processing completed 6/27. Been "in production" ever since, apparently. Blend date was 7/19 (came and went). Nothing "complex" to unhinge the order like MagneRide. EDD has been 8/11 for some time now -- I have my doubts. It's a wonderful process.

MINI has a process designed that is a benchmark for handling and communicating the status of retail orders. My wife was able to sign on to a portal that included timely updates throughout both the production and transportation processes. That included steps along the production line, a photo of the car when it was being loaded on the boat, and delivery times incorporating the ocean trip, the customs stop, and truck delivery.

If Ford had that, it would be a huge step up from the current capability.
