Ok they will not tell me what they turned on. Looking at the HP Tuners forum it is a simple thing for the Dodges, GM, and even see they have it setup for GT350.

I guess once my hardware minus the actual exhaust arrives I will have to do some poking around. Thanks for trying.

Still haven't been able to find anything. Can confirm power on my setup but no luck so far.

Hi guys,

I would like to upgrade my 2019 mustang gt with AE but after doing some searching I figured out it wouldn't work. Does anyone have an update? Something works?

Thanks for update. Do you how did it do that? Can we do it remotely? (I live in California) and how much is it?

I have an e85 tune from Palm Beach Dyno. I reached out to them and asked them to make the changes. I then did the changes on forscan my self.

Do you have an idea what they changed on Forscan file? Just trying to figure out as a lot are stuck and don't want necessary to get an E85 tune. Thanks

The forscan files changed are in the main Active exhaust thread.

The 2019s need forscan changes AND PCM changes. For PCM changes you need to use HP Tuners or SCT.

HP Tuners software is $300+. Its a no brainer to just get a tune from PBD that could give you a little boost in power AND activate the active exhaust.

I just got a Lund tune and asked them to activate the exhaust. When I start the car it now says 'Exhaust selection not available".

Did you activate using forscan?
I have, also tried several different numbers for 720-04 and 720-10 based on the big thread as there's a bit of confusion it seems.

Hello,
I recently bought your MPVI2 tuner and licensed the ECM of my 2019 Mustang (4 credits) to activate my active exhaust retrofit (used oem parts). Although I see the active exhaust menu on my dash (using firscan as described in forums), and enabled idle switch, load switch and manual control using Hptuners, it is still not active. Is there anything else should I modify? Is is the right programming procedure?I have read on forums that people managed to activate it using HpTuners (Palm Beach Dyno did it for instance)Thanks for your help.

I wanted to update this thread to let everyone know that I added and activated the active exhaust on a 2019 today successfully.

I added the factory mufflers, actuators, and harnesses. Enabled active exhaust in the cluster using Forscan, and enabled the active exhaust in the tune using HPTuners.

In HP Tuners it is just a few check boxes to enable Active Exhaust 1 and 2. That was it.

Nothing else was needed and it flips through the settings in thr cluster and adjusts the valves while driving just like factory.
