Its a good start, hearing that the GT500 exceeded all expectations. Hoping the initial expectations were high..
Maybe the DCT will be what pushes this car to atop the enthusiasts want list.

My friend called Brandon Ford, told them he was willing to put down a big deposit for a new GT500 as long as they would sell it to him near MSRP. Sales associate told him to hold on, called him back later and said he can put one down but they won't sell near MSRP. So, this is good news, as far as it's coming out soon but dealers are gonna be greedy. (My friend bought all specialty vehicles at first release at or below MSRP.)

Trying to find my Happy place!! I think I would be handling better if I had not purged my ride in anticipation being in line for what ever Ford has up its sleeve. Good things come to those that wait right!!!!

And that my friend is the $64,000 question. Or in this case, possibly the $90,000 question once ADMs are included. That's a lot to ask of Mustang enthusiasts. The SE will sell, but just not to the (stereo)typical muscle car crowd. That's great for Ford's branding and for those well-heeled customers who can afford any manner of badass vehicle. But kinda sad for for the average joe imho.

Unfortunately everything truly lust worthy is going to cost you out the nose! Just no way around it. If the car is as bad ass as we hope it ain't going to be cheap! You just have to want it bad enough if you can afford it! I'm just happy to be in the position to purchase one but this was not always the case. Had to pass on many Models before due to not being in the right position money/life wise!

I'm itching to see what it looks like, what it sounds like and what the performance numbers are.
I'm pretty sure it is going to be a beast of a machine.

Two factors bother me though.
Being able to get/order one, because of the stupid allocation game,....
and being able to afford one without the stupid ADM!

I have no doubt that the performance will be there! I just want it to stand out looks wise! That new widebody Shelby is ridiculous with 345s in the rear!! Hopefully Ford will beef this new Beast up. Again if we are looking at a 70k-90k it better look like it!!
