I’ve seen some conflicting information regarding this. Anyone know what the street alignment specs should be for a 2019 without the adjustable camber plates? I see in the manual the recommended specs are with using the adjustable plates. I’m getting new factory FP Cup 2s and while I got 8500 miles from them, I feel like the factory settings are off as most cars are.

This is right from the owners supplement. Does it matter if you're using the camber plates or not for street alignment?

I could be wrong but I think there is a notation at the top that says those figures are based off having the plates. I assume without the plates you can’t get to certain figures, so I’m trying to figure out the best alignment I can achieve without the plates while still keeping good turn in etc.

Without camber plates, factory or otherwise, front camber isn't adjustable, so it is what it is. From a wear perspective, toe is more important than camber anyway, so get that right per the specs and all will be well. Just to make it easier, the 2019 GT350 front street toe spec is 0.06 degrees toe-in. The 2020 street toe spec for the GT350 is 0.10 degrees toe-out. Toe out will produce snappier turn-in, but it might be tougher on the tires.

Any pictures of your tires? I have 10.4K on mine and this was last weeks rotation pictures. Both sides look the same.

I’ll get you some pics tomorrow after I get to discount. I will say I don’t have the 3rd line on either tire on the outer wall.

I realize you are asking for the 2019, but will be taking my 2017 GT350 non-R in for alignment as my inner front tires wear excessively and I don't track it. Someone mentioned in another thread that this is a factory alignment set up and I assume that a correct street alignment will help. However, I cannot find anywhere in the 2017 owner's manual what the settings are for a street alignment, the only alignment figures given are a supplement card indicating the track alignment. Are there specific numbers available or do I just trust the Ford dealer to have them? Thanks.

Went through my first set of Michelins with the toe out in about 12k miles. Had camber bolts and a less aggressive alignment done (less neg. camber and NO toe out). This set has no cording at 12k miles!

I have a ‘17 and my tires were toast after 12,500 miles. Since replacing the tires I have been gradually adjusting the front alignment to gain more life out of my tires with slightly reduced front end feel. The last alignment which is pictured below, required camber bolts to be installed to achieve the desired settings. The tires now are at 8000 miles and appear to be evenly worn across the thread.

Both sides are the same so as you can see not good lol. Just spirited street/mountain driving and this is at 8,500 as I said before which is why I thought different alignment. @460Fred

Wonder if this alignment would apply to the FP Cup 2s as well since yours are probably Super Sports

Yes I have MPSS. I don’t think the style of tire would have different wear based on alignment. I am no expert of course.

Neal...that's a really good alignment; someone took their time to do a good job, especially to dial in that detail on the rear.

One clarification though...on the front camber you were at -1.3° (stock) and decided you wanted to bring that out some? You could have left that in with little to no detriment to tire wear and retained some handling performance. Doubt (actually I don't doubt, I know) i would have touched that being that good on both sides. But you still ended up with a good job.

I’ve learned a lot about alignment since I discovered my ruined front tires a couple years ago. I believe most of the wear was due to the toe and not the camber. I purchased a three year unlimited alignment plan so I could mess around with different settings and see what works best. I don’t track the car so I’m not overly concerned about a slight loss of handling.
