So I have read all over about these cars burning oil, up to like a quart every 500-1000 miles. However, on my 2019 I have put around 3000 miles on it and the oil level has not changed whatsoever. I feel like the diabetes guy over here "checking my oil level and checking it often" as I am checking it usually 2-3 times a week..

Having said this, does anyone know if the updated 19'' engines have the oil consumption issues fixed? Or did I just get lucky.

just a heads up OP, never quit checking. mine burned none until about the 6k mark...then it got real bad real fast. and a couple thousand miles could've led to huge problems if one was to get lax on it.

The real oil eaters seem to be the 17 and 18 models. So far I don’t think the 19s are as bad. I have 15k on my 19 Replacement motor in my 18 chassis and it’s using perhaps 1 quart ever 3k miles or so.

I would assume the 2020 models don't have these issues or had them resolved by now.

My 2019 has 2400 miles and not a drop burned. I installed FP oil/air separator 400 miles ago and it is dry. I have not tracked the car. I check the oil at every fill up - which usually just results in friendly, inquisitive visitors at the pump. Just be routine and no need to be paranoid.

My 2020 has a little over 1,000 and zero oil usage so far.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.

The trade off for your ‘19 is they blow up.
