2019-2020 exposed carbon dash... glare?

Any 19-20 owners with the exposed carbon fiber dash out there that regret it due to glare? I generally love carbon fiber trim but am a little concerned about glare being annoying with the gloss finish. I typically prefer a matte finish on carbon trim, like in my XC90, but even then the glare can be strong in certain conditions.

I did not order my car to spec and probably would not have ordered it if I had. That said it looks decent and I do not notice any issues with glare.

As the above, I didn't order my car, but it has it. I love it, have had 0 issues with glare

It was not an option I wanted, but ultimately was packaged on the car I took delivery. I have grown very happy with it and believe it does give cosmetic enhancement to the interior. I have added addition CF trim on the door window switches, console coin tray and overhead map light console. All gloss CF. No issues to report with glare.

I ordered my carbon fiber dash. I have no glare issues after 5K plus miles.

I have it and its not really in the field of view. Its a non issue unless you want to stare at it going down the road

It's not the top part of the dash which is where that sort of glare typically comes from.

Thanks for the input, everyone! Test drove a car today with the carbon dash and had no issues... loved the look! Weather permitting I'll be bringing it home tomorrow.

Not sure if you can buy directly from Ford, but I think Trufiber makes a dash overlay

Driving it mornings and evenings, cant say I've gotten a glare coming off the cf dash that I was aware of. Ive had once where it reflected off the shifter chrome piece once that I can remember.

But a lot has to do with driver height, seat position, and time of day.

My 19' was on a dealer lot, so it already had the carbon fiber dash....I really wanted a base GT350 with no extra's, but I have to say it does look really good compared to a non carbon fiber dash and no issues with glare at all.

Yes, you can. I spock with service guy at my Ford dealership. He quoted something like $2600 without installation.
