What is the difference between a 2018 Mustang GT with PP2 and PP1 with magneride? On paper it seems to be the same thing except for the wheels and tires. Wondering if there are any major differences.

PP2 also includes upgrades to the suspension parts, and different Magneride programming, plus some aero changes like a larger front splitter and a different spoiler.

Also can't get pp2 with A10 but some get pp1 with A10 and magneride as a workaround.

Ford has some odd requirements on some option combos.

Forgot about the splitter. Any idea what the suspension mods are? Magneride programming can be done aftermarket if necessary but suspension mods can be expensive depending what they are.

A10 is actually what I want with PP2. I daily my GT and constantly stuck in stop and go traffic. Clutch isn't on my list of favorite smells. :D

If you want the A10, you're out of luck on a PP2, so it may not make a difference, but here's a breakdown:
https://www.cjponyparts.com/resources/2018-mustang-gt-performance-package-level-2

Here's a few specifics on the suspension from that article:
In terms of other suspension bits, you’ll also get Unique Track-inspired Chassis, Stability Control, EPAS, and ABS Tuning along with Unique Track-inspired Springs and a Sway Bar.

Then you want PP1 since PP2 is manual only.
I believe that PP2 rides quite a bit harsher compared to PP1 as it’s meant for track use, especially with the PP2’s Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

PP2 does not have a harsh ride, even In track mode. MagneRide is amazing. Doesn't feel any harsher to me than a non MagneRide PP1.
