What would you like to see Ford do to the rumored "refresh" that the Mustang may be experiencing for 2018? There will likely be subtle, but noticeable changes.

For me, I like my 2015 the way it is and will mod as I see fit. But Ford should:

1. Use hood struts instead of the prop rod
2. Change the ugly football coolant reservoir
3. Include Ford Racing shifter in PP cars
4. More wheel options, including square set for PP cars
5. Sticky tires on PP cars
6. Resonator delete H-pipe on PP cars
7. Tighten IRS subframe with a factory lockout kit (like BMR CB005)
8. Better sway bars
9. V6 Premium model
10. Delete the intake sound tube
11. Offer different interior colors, not just accents (loved my gray interior in my '99)

Maybe Ford is listening. Anything else? Be realistic.

I'm trading my EB for a 2018 GT next year, definitely would like -

1. Quads
2. 10 Speed auto
3. PP with Auto
4. Same coyote engine with a Horsepower bump
5. Mach 1 or Boss 302 offered as an option like the California special

If the rumors are to be believed, the V6 will be a premuim in 2018.

Why do you think they dont do any of those things besides cost? The aftermarket companies would hate it if you were able to buy a car right off the shelf and do nothing to it !!

Busty blonde cheerleader in the passenger seat of every car. Just saying...
I'm kinda liking this idea, and also direct injection.

1. Increase in power and torque with the addition of direct injection
2. Hood struts
3. Blacked out tail lights
4. Return of Got to Have it Green
5. Michelin Pilot SS tires with the PP
6. Option to black out badging with PP
7. Better looking hood like the one on the '13 GT
8. Better manual transmission

Not necessarily in that order.

but

30+hp perhaps by boring out the 5.0. coyote to bullet proof to give up.
more aggressive front end but i'd prob end up replacing it anyways.
no gloss black wheels...satin or matte.
whatever reason they can come up with to make me trade my CO... goodluck with that ford since you killed the color off again.

no to di.

1. Matching Brembo calipers for the rear
2. Michelin Pilot Super Sports
3. No holes where badges are located making for clean debadging or installation of different badges with out needing new parts like the ford deck lid panel.
4. Hood Struts
5. better design for reverse lock out, my oem piece broke, had to replace with barton.
6. louder stock exhaust or some sort of active exhaust like on the Jag F type.
7. Better suspension components on the Performance Package, too much roll for my liking.
8. Better quality of interior materials, design is fine but the leather and fabric feel cheap compared to what euro brands have to offer.
9. GT350 style shifter knob on a GT PP, while you can get it and thread it yourself, it should of been on the GT to begin with.
10. maybe a HUD, though I never used mine in my bmw M6.
11. LEDs for all parking, turn, marker, and interior lights. They went through the trouble of putting in nice headlights, led running/fog/tail lights, they should of completed the look with leds in the turn/parking/rear markers/ and interior.
12. Thicker gt350 style steering wheel.
13. More power is always nice
14. Tremec

Someone in another thread said plasma spray bore liners and direct injection are coming to the 5.0 for 2018. Don't know if its true, but they sounded pretty sure. If direct injection is coming hopefully it would be dual injection like the next gen Ecoboost.
