Two words. Grabber Blue
I initially purchased a 2016 EB but that lead to a buyback from Ford. I would've replaced it with another 2016 in Magnetic had GB not returned.
I debated just waiting on 2018 information but figured it wasn't worth it if I end up not liking the ascetics of the...
The only thing I really gave up on the base was the rear bumper and the drive mode switches. Neither of which were worth the $4k premium.
The rest of the "goodies" were of no interest to me.
Are you talking about the turn signals or the brake lights?
Brake lights aren't designed to be fancy, they are designed to be in your face instantly.
Having the brake lights engage in the sequence of the turn signals would result in tons of accidents
Was at the dealer today signing over the title on my EB buyback and was only planning on ordering a set of Roush heat extractors and AB exhaust.
They had both in stock!
Working on the install now that it's cooled off a little.
If it's like the Roush warranty it will cover DT failures up to a certain dollar amount in repairs. I'm pretty sure the Roush warranty was up to $7500.
If what it offers is even close to true AND you get to keep any type of drive train warranty, it's worth every penny.
Sure, you could get more out of your car for less money elsewhere but you are going to end paying way more than $2500 if your engine shits the bed within that warranty period.
Amen to Hwy 22. That was a godsend when it opened in 2001
I'll parrot what Scotts said. It's near impossible to get lost in MB/NMB the way it is setup. It's only a matter of figuring out block numbers and whether it's XXth street N or S. The entire grand strand is Hwy 17.
My family has...
I'm in the same boat... maybe even worse. My Ecoboost had the Roush power upgrade that put that 4 banger even closer to GT numbers.
Granted I didn't own the EB long enough to really get to thrash it and I've only had the GT for a little over a day but both cars are/were fun in their own way...
I'll hopefully be picking up my 2017 GT w/PP as soon as tomorrow. Just waiting for Tindol to receive the transfer.
I really wanted the Nickel wheels over black but it wasn't worth waiting 6-8 weeks on an order.
2017 base GT w/PP $35387 OTD.
Almost took a much better offer from Koons on a 2016 but I really wanted Grabber Blue after seeing it in person and this car was 6 hours closer
Well, add me to the list.
I've been dealing with a dud of an EB since shortly after I purchased it in May. Ford and I agreed on the final numbers today and I'm picking up a 2017 GT w/PP in Grabber Blue as soon as Tindol Ford gets the check.
