Looks like reverse sensors have been eliminated as an option. If I'm missing them please help me out. They should be standard on all Mustangs, even with a backup camera.
On the GT they are now standard equipment. On the EB they come standard on option group 101A and all Premium versions. So only unavailable on the basic EB (100A).

It was announced that this generation would be the 'most configurable Mustang ever'. Looking through this order guide I'd say that is opposite of the truth. Almost every optional spec is part of a larger package now and the number of seperate options has actually gone down.

Does anyone know if it makes sense to order the GT Performance Package on a convertible? I'll most likely never take it to the track.
Imho on the current version the PP makes the car drive like crap. It's really harsh and it doesn't really add all that much stability to it. So on a convertible I'd never take it.

With the FL it was announced that the standard suspension is improved to PP level on the pre-FL. So unless you want MagnaRide shocks I'd go for standard. You can always add harshness afterwards with lowering springs or coilovers.

But doesn't the PP add leather seats? Or can I add leather seats without PP? Sorry I'm new to this custom ordering thing.

No, actually leather seats are part of the Premium package. So yes you can have leather without the Performance package. Maybe the most confusing aspect is that both packages can be abreviated to PP.

Anyone know why you can't get mini-spare with 19" wheels, was looking at EB PP package.
I would assume the overall diameter of tires be very close.
I mean the EB PP just gets the standard GT brakes/rotors so it should fix I would think.

I can understand the GT PP not working with bigger brakes/rotors etc.

The whole not including a spare thing is pure shit. Didn't people verify that the factory spare fits a GT PP with a miniscule wheel spacer added?

Ford dropped the CS package for 2018. Makes me glad I bought my 17 with it.

It does - since you could order non-PP GT with a spare.

I have a feeling it'll be added back in 2019. It wasn't offered for 2015 either.

Ok, I realize why they do it, mini spare is a option.

I am going to guess it would fit fine on EB PP and like you say maybe need small spacer for GT PP.

Seems there are a lot of "note" certain option not available which don't make much sense.

Unless a special version of the 2018 comes out (Bullitt), I'll be getting Magneride, Carbon Interior and PP2. (6-way adjustable recaros..?, CF shaft..?, CF brakes..? CF front underpinnings (like the gt350 has).

Even if they don't go together. Perks.

It says the PP2 is not available with the 10SPD auto. But there's no description of what the PP2 is.
Bullitt? Please don't be the Bullitt. My wallet can't take it.
