Bullitt? Please don't be the Bullitt. My wallet can't take it.
As much as I want to believe that, I think it's more likely it's just a 1LE type package, which I believe is manual only on the Camaro as well. I dunno why though since the auto is technically faster.

I would be quite excited if its an even more performance oriented car to go toe to toe with the 1LE. Question is...what would they put on it that they already didn't?

Unless a special version of the 2018 comes out (Bullitt), I'll be getting Magneride, Carbon Interior and PP2. (6-way adjustable recaros..?, CF shaft..?, CF brakes..? CF front underpinnings (like the gt350 has).

Even if they don't go together. Perks.
Good luck with your 50k build with those add ons

I only came here to complain that it won't be any kind of an easy venture to swap the 12" Display into my '15.

So the silver GT PP BBS-look wheels are gone in favor of the forged aluminum 5-spokers. I can accept this trade off.

Unfortunate that you have to buy a bunch of safety crap to get the 3-position memory seats, though.

muh clutch, mostly. To be fair, though, the old 1LE on the 3G cars was manual only, and intended for showroom stock racing (this was back in the late 80s, when computer-controlled autos were just starting to become a thing), so there's a little bit of precedent. Biggest thing would be if the trans couldn't take track work (which I'm skeptical of, since GM has mentioned that their whole 'track torture test' for their sports cars involves 24 hours worth of hot-lapping).

With those wheel widths (9.5 and 10") it is unlikely to go toe to toe. IMO.

I must not have read it correctly, how did you decipher this? :)

With the FL it was announced that the standard suspension is improved to PP level on the pre-FL. So unless you want MagnaRide shocks I'd go for standard. You can always add harshness afterwards with lowering springs or coilovers.
What is the FL? Sorry, I'm a little behind on this topic.

Thanks.

I think FL is the fleet document that came out about a month ago.

OK, so now that I know what FL means, can you post a link to the source on this? I am going to try contacting a Ford engineer and want to have all my ducks in a row before I bother him.

I believe it was mentioned in the press release for the FL.
