Curious, but how many of you are out there?
I caught fire, and while I'm no forensic fireman, the fuel line melted/snapped at the direct injection pump, catching the passenger head on fire, and the upper coolant hose melted at the firewall/evap core.
So, that sucked. Recently, somebody popped their head in asking if anybody could help with part numbers, and well, fresh off the rebuild, I had them.
But that then got me to thinking... A) that's really eerily similar to what happened to mine B) we both have 2018 GT's, and now C) what are the chances that it's just us? This is the first time they've done direct injection, and I know you're supposed to wait a year with things, but ... who else knows or directly had this same issue with the fuel line bursting?
