I laugh at you guys that say keep driving the car. It’s a friggin new car and all the gauges and drive modes and warning lights are out. If he keeps driving like this they will probably void the warrantee if the engine blows or something like that because he did not bring it in when the gauges went. Driving it as is is a stupid idea.

Having said that, as an old fart I did just that but the cars were old school the last being 23 years old. There is a difference...

Bought my 2018 Mustang GT in early December and the LCD Panel went out completely the first week in February. Was told part on back order in February and that ETA for part to come in was early April. In the mean time the Ford dealership that I took my vehicle to gave me a Ford Edge loaner - go figure! Have escalated this issue to the Ford Exec offices and have yet to get a response from them. Just wanted to post this so all are aware that this possibly could happen to you. Needless to say, I'm not too happy about this!

Just saw your post on consumeraffairs.com. Keep up the pressure!

Just to clarify my post - I was commenting on the ability to drive without the gauges only. I didn't mean to imply that OP shouldn't be upset about it. I've lemon lawed a car , so I know how much it sucks when your brand new car doesn't feel brand new anymore. Sorry to hear OP. IMO though, something like this which is easily fixable once the part arrives, isn't worth lemon lawing like a transmission or engine would be. You won't have to constantly worry about drivability, etc like you would with a mechanical prob. As much as it sucks, I'd probably suck it up and wait for the part. Maybe try yo get them to throw in some oil changes or even a maintenance plan for your troubles. Sometimes parts fail, this is one of those times. Now if it repeatedly occurs, yea - time for lemon law.

You can’t just buy the cluster though and have it shipped to your door like that. You have to go to the dealer and order the cluster and some place in PA has to program the mileage and such. No dealer can change an ODO or anything like that. Ford may have a bunch of clusters made up and ready to go for the new cars but the place that programs clusters and such may not have any or not enough to cover replacements. I assume there are not many failures but enough to cause a back order.
You know there is a 61 pages on the Tech subforum where guys are figuring out how to get this to work in a 2017 (not easy but they did it)?

OP, I get it, sorry if it sounded like enjoy it as is. I was only implying that it likely won’t leave you stranded, thus allowing you to get to work and the stealer.
