The GT350 is done after 2017. I heard it from a inside source. No auto no updates. It's done and over with after 2017.

Remember to give your source a dick kick when you find out he lied to you. :D;)

It sounds like any dealer can enroll in the GT350 program for a thou no matter if they ever sold a Mustang. YAHOO ! I wonder if each dealer enrolled in the GT3350 program has the choice of a GT350R over a GT350. Heck , I may give my favorite dealer a thou to enroll if I can get a GT350R.
It doesnt work like that for the R allocations

Don't worry. You'll see.
So the super official looking document on the first page that looks very very similar to the one released for 2016/2017 cars is a elaborate hoax by ford?

I honestly don't see how it will make financial sense to keep the GT350 and potentially introduce the GT500. Pricing on a GT350 starts at about 57k. 62k for an R. Is Ford going to be able to sell those plus a GT500? What will the cost difference be? I think Ford will have a tough time selling another car at 70k+
My bet is if there is a 2018 GT350 there will not be a GT500 and vice versa. No facts to back that up, just my gut feeling.
I'll agree with that!
Plus,.......the person with the screen name, 'TOPNOTCH' on this forum said that there will likely NOT be a new GT500 for the 2017 year.
(I have read that he is a pretty credible source.)

Would no more GT350s after 2017 make sense since the '18 MY will be a 2017 calendar year sales?

For the person asking whether his dealer's only allocation could be an R, sorry almost zero chance of that. Requires it to be like the 4th GT350 allocation of year unless special circumstance.

My only regret was not waiting for convenience pack.

I think he means after calendar year 2017? Because model year certainly look to be otherwise.

It's worth noting though that while the original GT350 dealer enrollment was for a 2-year period. This dealer enrollment only mentions MY18. Makes a MY19 look much less probable. Especially when all signs point a new performance model coming in either of these years.

IF that is the case then and wants to argue semantics then so be it, then yeah most of production of MY18s would/could be completed in the 2017 calendar year. And yeah I agree, since its a single year extension of the program I would say that a MY19 car is highly unlikely

Unless he is eluding to an abbreviated MY18 run that concludes in 2017 and ford introduces a late MY18 release GT500:ninja:

Yup, semantics for sure at this point then. They are going to continue making GT350s well into 2017 and those would normally be the MY18s.

Either way, doesn't mater. All we know for sure is the '5000' car a year run for 16 and 17 as we originally assumed/were told - is incorrect and that the car continues.

Hopefully that means more aftermarket companies get in the GT350 game!

I was under the impression that all R's had been spoken for at this point (dealer allocation). My dealer here who regularly got and sold R's had no more after mine. I even tried to order one in a different colour combo and couldn't.

I am under the distinct impression now that the order banks will reopen allowing for a '3rd' order of 'Rs' here in Canada. A 16/17/18(although still in 17).

My dealer told me he isn't going to enroll in the 2018 GT350 program. He just told me that from what he has seen with other performance models, the 3rd year the cars usually sit on the lots.

If you say it enough times, maybe it will be so.
