2018 GT Getting ready for the Whipple install

As I put some more miles on the 2018 GT to determine if there are any issues with the engine or transmission, I am wanting to get prepared for the Whipple install. There's not a lot to do besides doing an inventory(done), gapping the plugs, getting space prepared and gathering tools. However, I am wondering if I can change out the stock fuel pump with the DW400 that comes with the kit and use it with the stock tune and injectors.

Any thoughts?

I believe that a tune is required.

You can install the spark plugs, assemble the fuel rails and injectors, piece together the tensioner, pull the stb, k brace, and engine cover, fill the supercharger oil, and probably a few other things I am forgetting.

you can add the pump the system will work like stock, just not drop pressure as soon
