Just a heads up for THOSE DOING THE HEATED STEERING WHEEL along with the cluster. If you're not doing the heated wheel and/or upgrading to a 2018 steering wheel this does not apply.

The 2018 steering wheels have a different air bag as p6cl just discovered. Close but not the same. We are trying to lock down the part number and cost. Why they did this, who knows but the costs will go up for those chasing this portion of the mod.

Just wanted those buying parts or looking to buy parts to be warned. These are the things that come up on first time mod chasing.

So if we don’t want heated, jus buy the bottons and swap em on our pre-2018 wheel I assume?

Thanks to db252 and p6cl for pulling the triger. Been rereading this thread all week! I want to order parts and hoping you guys can confirm my order, and steps - I'm a bit of a novice.

Have a GT 2016 Manual trans with sync3 and navi.

1) Order the following:

 • JR3Z-10849-LB <-- Cluster for manual trans
 • JR3Z-9C888-AA <-- New buttons
 • JR3Z-9C888-EA <-- New buttons
 • JR3Z-9C888-CA <-- New buttons
 • JR3Z-63044D70-BA <-- Instrument Panel
 • JR3Z-3F791-HA <-- Steering Column

2) Update Sync 3

3) Then flash 2018 GT as built data and change these lines:

 • 720-05-01
 • ----D818 001C to C818 000C
 • 720-10-01
 • ----2000 0000 0058 to 1000 0000 0048
 • 720-03-02
 • ----D818 001C to C818 000C

I've never used forscan before is there a specific section I need to flash specif to the cluster?
You can do same build if you have manual trans need to adjust some of the part numbers for automatic but this is easily done by searching the parts on Ford Parts website - Navi will be fine

2015 Mustang GT Premium with Track Package
A few questions...

1. How much does it cost to do the cluster swap to the 2018 digital cluster?
2. Where can I order the digital cluster?
3. I have a 2015 Mustang GT Premium with track pack (6speed) - will the digital cluster work with that? And will all the features work?

Thanks :)
