Well it turns out it was the passenger imrc rod that activates them, snapped right where it connected behind the sensor. Car runs great again with the new intake. I guess people lock them out but I wanted to keep them.
Lund said fuel trim is within 5% nothing that would show a misfire. But it's def missing my vac gauge says 20 if I go slow rpm will loose a little vac. looking at stft1 saying - 3 to -5 when it's cold warmed up it goes to 2 ltft1 is 4 at idle warm and cold?
Ya im almost positive it's the intake runner on one side. I could reach back there and activate the valves on the driver's side. Passenger nothing stuck. Look at the back of the intake you will see what activates them.
No still missing at low rpm stock. Not enough to throw a code but live data says 1 through 4 misfires. Runs fine under load. Hope this works its on the way.
After all I have herd about dealerships I'm just going to do it myself. Just orderd a new intake of ebay for $90 with 10 miles on it. I will do it myself in my garadge so I know its done right and not take weaks. Plus if it work and goes smooth might do the 18 manifold later on
So I had my buddy that works for snapon use his scanner we found misfires in 123&4. Strange right? One side, passenger? So I'm thinking it's the baffles that open and close in the intake manifold that are stuck or broken causing a low rpm misfire. Only misses under 3500 not under load 1234...
Lund sent a tune today and told me to do a crank relearn but it dident help still missing. Sent a video and another 2 min log of it missing so we'll see. Not alot but enough to notice. Could my cats be kind of clogged? Can they tell if the coils are OK from data log? Still missing enough to...
Got my data log back from Lund this is what they said
Chris, this log you sent in shows no signs of misfire. Fueling is well within the range it needs to be and the results from this log are what I would expect from this combo.
Do we have any codes coming up or have we seen a flashing check...
Best budz with the service manager hahahaha uhoh ya im probably screwed on the warenty work but it's my only car my daily driver. Put every cent I have towards it. Can ford get into the computer with a Lund tune on it? Or is it locked?
Trust me I know but the guy that worked there as the service advisor had a mustang with full exaust and tune. He told me to put it to stock before I bring it in so they can look at it. We'll see.. Cars only got 8k miles on warenty
