It depends also if is GT or EB. My EB Premium PP1 has workable vents for aerodinamics. Also the splitter is a bit longer. I believe the base EB doesn’t have air vents, also the GT PP tires are bigger so, no vents neither. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Can you show pic of your splitter?) Is it wider than base?

The PP1 splitter looks like fangs on my shadow black. Love it!

The main goal of the 2018 Ford Mustang GT Performance Pack is to make more downforce at higher speeds for improved handling. This means adding a more advanced front spiltter as well as a redesigned rear spoiler. The new “coffee table splitter” is reported to add 24 pounds of downforce at 80 mph. On the rear of the car, the new spoiler is said to make 60 pounds of downforce, also measured at 80 mph.

Those numbers are based on the PP2 equipment, not PP1

Not really...check the article and you'll see everything you said is for the PP2. I wasn't able to find anything regarding PP2 downforce figures.

Extensive time in the wind tunnel with former NASA aerodynamics specialists brings a new, aggressive splitter. Starting with the coffee table of a splitter from the old, beloved Boss 302 Laguna Seca, the team developed a new one that will provide approximately 24 pounds of downforce at 80 mph, which should help keep the nose planted through higher speed corners. Likewise, a reworked spoiler will help balance the increase in front downforce, giving the package a total of roughly 60 pounds of downforce at 80 mph.
24lbs is the front, 60lbs is total.

Base GT and base ecoboost don't get the vents, PP variants of both get them. Also, the vents aren't necessarily for aero, they're more for brake cooling

Like others have said, it is a little larger and from the side angle I believe it is more of a 45* angle. That said, I can't believe what the PP1 part costs being that it is just molded plastic.

Nope. According to Ford, the 24 lb front splitter downforce is for PP2.

https://media.ford.com/content/ford.../new-mustang-gt-performance-pack-level-2.html
"Using the splitter from the famed Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca as a benchmark, Mustang engineers attached the piece to the underside of the front to fan out as much as 3 inches around the corners of the Mustang GT. It creates about 24 pounds of downforce at 80 mph, helping give the car its exceptional grip. To balance the downforce, a subtle, redesigned rear spoiler stretches across the decklid."

My buddy has a base 18 GT and I have an 18 PP1 and the front splitters are the same. I think PP2 is the one that gets a more aggressive splitter, and EB has a different one from a PP EB.
