Can you access the Digital Tach in the new 12" Digital Display? I can't and I found out I'm not the only one. I wonder how many have this problem. :(

If you have the Digital Tach "2045 RPM" let me know which tranny you have please.

Yes, it's missing. Ford told me that they deliberately left it off your car, and your car only, just to mess with you.

Merry Christmas!

Imho digital tachs are useless.

Rapidly changing numbers are impossible to read and do nothing for information at a glance.

Seeing a needle sweeping towards redline on an open face guage gives you all you need to know.
Maybe the op is not seeing it if the motor is not running? Try starting the car to see if the numbers appear or just keep reading the manual.

You can do it!

Maybe I’m confused on what the op,is missing.

From his post, I think he is missing the digital rpm read out (numbers) that is shown inside the sweeping needles?

Well, since there's no gauges and just a big screen...everything on it is digital.
Sooooo I promise you have a digital tachometer.

Is the op looking for the 6980 numbers inside the tach as shown in the picture?

OP has an auto, so I think in most modes it shows the gear he is in versus a digital tach. I would assume in the menu's somewhere you can change that, but not sure as I have a manual. My digital tack read's out where I see the auto gear number. I usually have my gauges in sport or track mode, and I have digital readout, but I also have a manual transmission so it may be on by default since there is no need to show what gear I'm in.

I like your answer but one guy with a manual told me his was the same as mine. Maybe he just couldn't figure out how to get it? Your answer makes sense to me that's why I'm asking.

Thinking about buying a manual GT. Is it possible to turn the digital tach and digital speedo off, or put another gauge or piece of info in thier place?

You can turn the digital readout on the tach off, but not the digital readout on the speedo. For me, that's perfect. The rapidly changing numbers on the digital tach are useless while the digital readout on the speedo is actually quicker to read than the analog.

The LCD dash is an option... If you don't want it just don't select it, and it'll also save you quite some money.
