there are 2 reasons why people dont buy a gt350, or any better, more expansive car in general, and they start to giving bs excuses to justify their cheap purchases. reason 1 - they dont have the money. reason 2 - (for mustangs) they want a cheap car to start a build. and thats is a very small...

I went to a dealer yesterday and they offered a base GT for 28k, then, offered a 2018, base gt, used with 6k miles for 30k..... I told the sales guy how come a one year older car, used, is more expensive than a brand new one?, he said they have different packages. I had to teach him both cars...

your car is freaking beautiful. I LOVE the GT350, perfect car imo, but I guess a c7 z06 would be a good option for you since you didn´t find the GT350 that different, the z06 is a beast. GL anyhow

for a DD i´d go with premium. and there´s no evidence the 2018+ engine is far superior. it has more power.... But the gen2 is proven great engine with no issues, and very easy to modify.
