I got some black felt and cut to fit. No more glare.

Went for a 400-mile day ride to the mountains today, and didn't bother me at all... and it was 106 and sunny all day. So fortunately it's not an issue for me. I had polarized glasses, which might have contributed to that, but haven't had any issues even when I don't drive with sunglasses on (meaning regular non-polarized glasses).

I dont think it has anything to do it glasses. The glare i mentioned was not to my face but to the plastic protection thats on the digital screen. I think there are very few cars that have this issue and ford might have fixed this during the early stages.

Polarized lenses reflect glare, as you probably know. But my dash does NOT glare at all, even without any sunglasses. Maybe Ford changed something in late 2019 cars, but I can tell you that my cluster is not shiny at all, so no glare whatsoever. My build date was Aug 2019, by the way.

the black piece of felt did wonders, just like a previous poster said. I piece of textured black neoprene works ok (drum skin) but reflected enough that it didn't actually solve it. The problem child is not the instrument, it's the piece of black smooth plastic that angled mostly away from the driver and located between the 2 "spun aluminum" pods for us non-digi-dash people or the 'shelf' in front of the main dash face.

Ohhhh, so you're talking about the non-digital dash; no wonder. Ha ha. I have the digital dash, and no such problem. There's a piece of plastic between the 'pods', but it's matte, just like the rest of the bottom part of the instrument cluster, which is probably about 3" deep. But rather than 2 pods, the whole dash is 'sunken'. When talking about crap like that, just post a picture, and nobody will confuse the issue :D.
