Have the switches, the SCCM arrived today, cluster, Windows tablet and DLC connector arriving tomorrow. Also ordered a GT350 steering wheel but that won't arrive until Thursday, should've tried to time it better!

Just watching the UPS truck drive around on the map, opposite side of town. I think my impatience is going to win out and Im going to do the install tonight even without the trim piece. Hopefully Cxmoney will come through and Ill get the trim piece sooner rather than later. Have exactly 11825.0 miles, starting disassembly.

Have fun. You’ll enjoy seeing it come alive. Don’t worry about the first start up as it will be very confused.

First impressions, box said remanufactured and the clear lens has a lot of swirl marks that my original didn’t so that’s annoying. Removed it and tried cleaning with microfiber but they’re permanent. Next annoyance is when I fired it up, after I painstakingly got my mileage to exactly 11825, the new cluster has 111824.5. Surprisingly there were only warning messages for the doors being open which I cleared and then there’s the wrench light on. It did briefly flash the 4x4 message as well. Now on to programming...

As far as I know most everybody’s said remanufactured especially if it came from Tasca so that’s no big deal. The swirl marks are not acceptable and reach out to breeves002 as he took his lense off for some cleaning. The mileage will not change and that’s a serious misprogrammed issue. All the warnings you got are normal.

Yeah I removed it as well because there was a lot of dust in there also, but the swirl marks remain. Its not a big deal really but the money I paid, I was hoping it would at least look as good as the original. Well, as good as it used to anyway, I scratched the lens on the OE one pretty good taking it out. :headbonk:

I know there is a lense wipe product that removes swirl marks but I can’t remeber the name and that might help. I as surprised to hear that some have had these issues as mine was perfect. I put saranwrap on my new cluster lens as to not scratch it putting it in. Take your time. I’m curious as to what you do for your mileage situation. Good luck with the programming and it shouldn’t be a problem.

The pictures of the cluster in the first post laying on the pink foam is my cluster and you can see the clarity of that lens which I would assume everyone would receive theirs like that. The plastic trim piece that is removed is also mine that Sam used for a reference for people to go off of. Doesn’t have to be pretty....just trimed away enough for the new cluster to set in well enough. Pad the right side metal frame as that will make contact with the cluster and it will help prevent any vibration sounds. I have a pic of it but even the stock plastic piece has a little padding in that area from the factory that you’ll see when yours is out.

Going to have to get a sawmill blade, the one thing I forgot. Looks like theres a vent and stuff back there, no issues cutting ?

not really, only thing is that some of it is deeper than it looks, as in it's not just flat, so you have to cut further back but it's pretty obvious, mainly bottom right in my pic (so bottom left for you)

i used a dremel so it's pretty precision, the vent housing never even came close to getting touched.
