Auto High Beams 720-01-01 XX*X XXXX X*XX B & 0 = Disabled F & 2 = Enabled Not sure what happens if you only set one of these. This is not required to be
disabled if you don't have AHB. You will ony get a code in the IPC.

Can someone explain this? I want them disabled so am I putting B in the first * and and 0 in the second* ?

SO has anyone else encountered this. Able to rewrite the SCCM, no problem. It made the steering wheel controls work. Wont allow me to chose the center gauges for some reason but thats another problem. The bigger issues is when I try to rewrite any line of the IPC data, it gets to a certain point, sometimes even 100% then says service has been interrupted and it doesn't allow me to change the data. I have to reread it and its the same as it was when I started. Tried to the entire data sheet as well as single lines. Frustrated.

haha, yes it's a bitch but here's what worked for me.

there's another version of Forscan you need to use. it's linked in the other thread by Breeves. http://forscan.org/download/FORScanSetup2.3.14.test20180218.exe

Key thing though, you need to uninstall the old version first, restart your PC and then install the new one. You also need to wait for your car to completely cycle off before trying the new one.

At least that's what worked for me. i tried with both versions for ages with no luck, and only after doing the above did it work.

Do you have to get another license?

nope, it remembers it, just uninstall, restart, and install the new one. from then on it'll all work fine. turn car off for 5 minutes or so in between, not sure it's necessary but i did in my successful run.

Thanks for that brother, saved what little hair I have remaining from being pulled out. Next poll of the audience, has anyone been able to get rid of the 4x4 error that pops up? Also, my mode switches aren’t functioning, did I miss something in the AB for that? I’m operating off a tiny tablet and my iPhone so it’s not ideal.

All asbuilt needs to be done for IPC and SCCM. The 4x4 and other issues should be gone. Anything else that’s quirky can be fixed.

I did the SCCM first because the IPC wasn't allowing me to initially, but I will double check it shortly. Wish I could use my iPad Pro...
Also, was the high beam issue ever resolved? Im getting the flash to pass in either direction but won't remain on. Going to sit inside and sift through some pages here while I grab a drink.

If the IPC isn’t done you won’t clear those issues. Keep at it.

Yes the brights issue is fixed.

Normal high beam function is under 724-01-01 (SCCM)
XXXX-2XXX-XX
High beam indicator icon displayed is under 720-09-01 (IPC)
XXXX-0XXX-XXXX

Found the high beam fix line, going to try that now. Then its on to figuring out why my drive mode switches don't work.

Also, I attempted the ICP and it wasn't working so I wrote the SCCM with no issues, which allowed my steering controls to work properly. Then I red DLed Forscan and updated IPC. Im going to run back out and double check everything.

Hey zero if you can't write the IPC you need to uninstall and reinstall the FORSCan beta. Do you have the beta? If you do start over with the as built data baseline for the IPC. Put that in and confirm that drive modes work and all error lights go away. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1T-CjMpdlxwBljFb0EQHlD1stsH_thMQpUDSwWylL-wI/edit#gid=0

If you cant connect to FORScan theres another problem and you'll need to email them with log files.
I was able to get through that by installing the latest version thanks to SpArkys recommendation. Im back in the car now to work on the high beams and drive mode. And so you’re saying to go back to how the IPC was before I made changes?
