He ordered it from his local Ford dealer. They price matched tasca but you have to pay tax. I know all here apparently haha sorry if I'm taking anyones thunder :clap2:
It's all good. I actually just found his post on the other thread that said he had an issue with TASCA cancelling his order. That's were I ordered my parts from last Thursday. Expecting them to update me with some bad news tomorrow or Tuesday regarding order status. Hopefully they will cancel and refund fast so I can just go the dealer route as well (if required).

He did order the JR3T-10849-ALC part though which people have been getting shipped when they order the JR3Z-10849-LB part.

Reordered the SCCM online, hoping for better luck. Still haven't been told any bad news about the cluster yet, either. Heres hoping...

Where did you order it at? Keep us updated on order status and I will do the same.
Initially from Tasca, new order with OEM Ford Parts. If they don't come through, then I'll order locally.

What did Tasca say to you and how long did take for them to cancel the order? I ordered everything from them last Thursday.

I order my cluster from Tasca (#JR3Z-10849-LB) on Feb 21st, spoke with "Joy" from them that same day to provide the reason why I was ordering the part. I provided the vin and odometer on the order when I placed it.

This is the return email I got back once I provided the reason for the order. So it would appear to be all was good and I should receive the part in few business days...

On Feb 28th around 7am I sent them email asking for the status of my cluster order and a separate order I have for the bezel, switches and SCCM. After not getting a response I call them around 1pm that same day to possibly get an ETA. I Also ask if I can have just the bezel shipped out separate from the switches and SCCM, as I had been told before that it was avaliable and not on backorder like the rest of the order. They at first tell me that I can't have one item shipped from the order, as I would have to cancel the entire order. So I then asked if I could just cancel one item from the order and just reorder it, and they told me yes, that would work. But... trust me.. They didn't just offer this solution, as they seemed not willing to help in anyway to get me the part that I needed. They tell me on the phone to do that I need to cancel the item off the order, refund the part and reorder it so it can go out separately.

So I do exactly that. I have them cancel the bezel part off the order with the switches and SCCM and reorder just the bezel to go out. They refund the money quickly to PayPal and I reorder the bezel right after with the money refunded. On the phone the gentlman tells me that the status on my order with the cluster is at the wharehouse and is expected to go out in the next couple of days.

On March 1 I receive this email with the ship info on the bezel and update on the order for the cluster.

So... I thought great.. the bezel is shipped and the cluster is shortly behind it. So now I can get started tearing the dash apart and get ready to installing everything in few day when the parts come in.

On March 5th I receive the bezel via UPS, all it good with the part. I go online to check the status of the order with the bezel and the switches/SCCM, both are still saying "processing". They are two separate orders and I understand that it might be awhile on the switches and SCCM with the backorder... but the order with the bezel I thought would have shipped at this point. Also during this time I have picked up the switches and SCCM from this forum from members, score.. So I should have all the parts to do the swap when ever I get the cluster from Tasca.

On March 6th I call them and ask to cancel the order with the switches and SCCM. They have no problem doing so and the money is refunded to my PayPal account quickly. I don't ask them anything about the cluster at this time because I am busy at work. But, I do go back online and check the account and now the order with the SCCM and Switches is showing "cancelled" and the cluster is still showing "processing". Around about 1130 am I get free from work and send them email checking on the status of the order with cluster..

My email:

(Good morning,

* * *Just want to check on the status of order #*880701 and eta on when it might ship? Sorry for the bother, just the final piece I am missing to swap my dash gauges.

Have great day!

Robert

Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone)

I hear nothing back from them all day and I could not call due to work. So that evening (after they had closed) I check the online order again on their website and the order for the cluster is now showing "cancelled"....... I couldn't believe it.. I had went back and forth with them for two weeks about the cluster and been told it would be shipping and now it shows cancelled. I thought maybe it was a mistake and it got cancelled when I cancelled the order with the backordered switches and SCCM. But I know I checked it shortly after cancelling the order that morning, because I sent them email after checking it online and was still showing "processing".

So the next morning I make time at work to call when the open at 9am to try to figure out why the order is showing cancelled. I speak to gentleman on the phone and he tells me, the order was cancelled because the part is on backorder with no ETA from Ford.. and that I recievied email on Feb 21st from them telling me that it was on backorder. I didn't know what to say.. I recievied multiple email from them about the part shipping and not one single one from them saying the part was on backorder. I had also talked to them on the phone couple different times over the course of the two weeks and nothing was said to me about the cluster was on backorder. The gentleman is very short, offers no help or explanation, has I don't care attitude about it and basically tells me my money will be refunded in 24 hours and good luck on finding the part in condescending tone when he hangs up the phone. I couldn't believe it.. what BS.. I was kinda aggravated at this point..

So I start calling around to see if that part is actually on backorder. I call my local Ford Dealer and give them the part number. A short time later I find out the part number is on backorder, but that is has also changed to #JR3Z-10849-ALC from them. They also tell me they will match the price and if I order with them they will get it next day as it was in Atlanta. I have to wait another day before the money from Tasca is refunded to my account so I can order the part from the local Ford Dealer.

I Also try to call Tasca a couple times again that day, but I can't get anyone and few times the phone would sound like somebody was on the phone saying nothing and I would just get cut off. I was curious as why they didn't offer this help to find the correct part number. I had been told by Sam ( breeves002) who had order the -LB part number front them that he just recievied the -ALC cluster with no issues. So they should have at least know that the -LB part was getting replaced with the -ALC part number. They have the-ALC part number on their website for sale... but who knows.. I am unsure why they were so unwilling to help..

I personally will avoid ordering from them again in the future, they have great prices.. but there customer service is not on par.

I did get the money refunded the next day and placed my order with the local Ford Dealer. I recievied the cluster the very next day around noon as the promised and stay up later than I should have that night and installed it with no issues.

So I said all that to get it off my chest on what I dealt with when dealing with Tasca to get the digital cluster. I personally wouldn't order from them, based solely on the point of there customer service and how the seemed to not care when my order got cancelled. I hope the owner sees this post, I Also posted on their Google maps reviews and I hope he see it also. I will not order anything fro them in the future and hope other members might read this and understand my frustrations a bit and consider a different source... I will stick with my local Ford if I can or another online retailer.

OEM Ford Parts just mailed me saying they need a VIN to process the SCCM order to make sure its correct. I told them what I'm doing, so hopefully they will just ship what I paid for. Also, noticed the edit on the main page that lists JR3T-10849-ALC as the alternate number, it should be JR3Z, not T. That number with JR3T is not valid, but works fine with the Z.

You can give them your vin but I do recommend telling them what you're doing so they don't think its the wrong part.

The part numbers are confusing if Z vs T ,etc... Thanks for the heads up.

Anyone know if the auto clusters have a new P/N??

I order mostly from my local dealer unless the discount online is huge. I get pretty close to wholesale pricing there so its usually nice for the convenience factor. I have to pay sales tax though - although no shipping cost.

Just got an email from OEM Ford Parts saying they can't do clusters via internet orders so they cancelled and refunded.

Order the part number I have listed on the first page. If it is wrong they will either
A. Not let you order it
B. Cancel your order
C. Send you the newer part number (this is what they did to me)

You may call a Ford dealer and try to get the part number. Give them the last 8 of a 2018 401A vin and say you need the instrument cluster part number.

Just got an email from OEM Ford Parts saying they can't do clusters via internet orders so they cancelled and refunded.
This sucks... Try Tasca with new part number? Since you're in the US you can also try your Ford Dealer and have them price match Tasca the closest they can.

So poll of everyone that has received the cluster, how did you get it? Ordering online has not worked for me at all. Tried Tasca and OEM Ford Parts online and both cancelled. My local dealer wants to charge list price which is 400 more than what you can get it for online. If anyone has a local dealer that is willing to order for you, I will provide my VIN and mileage and PayPal the funds if someone can physically get this for me. Sick of dealing online.

Manual or Auto car?

Order the -ALC part if Manual. Sucks your dealer won't give you lower then list. Sherrod got his dealer to match Tasca. Mine will probably get closer to Tasca then list but they won't quite match it. I'm willing to give it a shot if you want me to though.
