2018 boost options

We plan to release ours in roughly 45-60 days, the stage 1 will include a full powertrain warranty 3/36,000, stage 2 and 3 are the higher power versions.

I thought it was going to be released in December? Patiently waiting to buy one.

How much power should we expect from the stage 1 ?
I expect more than the comparable Roush kit with same warranty .
Really looking forward to seeing how the 18 does with FI .Especially if the GT 500 is going to be priced out of reach .
Might even be able to hold unto the GT 350(plus gen 3 Whipple ?) and add an 18 GT with the gen 5 to the stable ...and still be less than the cost of the new GT 500

More like January, we’ve been testing a ton of new things to increase power even more. Guys are gonna be blown away with track times and transmission cal! We’ve got some new cal features that are seriously, bad ass.

Not to get off topic, but if a 17 PP car with a gen 2 whipple does a 10R80 swap, can Whipple provide a new tune that will work with swap? Also, those 775 and 900 hp numbers- are they flywheel on 93 octane?

all the kits should work out really well on these cars.

i'm excited to see how the a10 does with centri boost. as the lower shift drops are suited very well for a centri.

the whipple kit looks like it will be a big player too

The issue would be the controller, the 17 PCM is not capable of running the trans, that's part of the reason the 18 PCM tripled in size/capacity and tables, the trans is massive.

Flywheel and 93, although we are easily eclipsing these power levels right now. With some cool weather, we've just made 864RWHP through the 10-speed. We won't ship this out this way, but I can say this combo of 10-spd, DI/PI, compression, new SC, etc. is a win win.

Does the Whipple SC powertrain warranty cover the same as the Roush one? Is that an add on cost over the Supercharger package? Sorry if that is a dumb question.

Normally my time is split between Louisville and the central IL/St. Louis area. Cincinnati isn't far from Louisville.
