now that my Edelbrock stage 2 is installed, dialed in and running like a champ, i’d like to install a proper boost gauge. Other than swapping the vac guage in the dash with the ecoboost vac/boost guage, what are all of you doing for one?

Curious if anyone has replaced the center console mounted oil pressure and vacuum gauge with the Ford performance oil pressure and boost vacuum gauge ...seems like a no brainer since it is a plug and play operation ...thoughts ?

You can activate the digital boost gauge using forscan but the boost is just a calculated estimate rather than actual pressure reading from a MAP sensor.

I did this. I have a 2016, but it was simply plug and play. No programming or forscan updates, it just "worked." I know it probably isn't completely accurate since it is a calculated value, but it looks good and it was easy to install.

Thanks to all of your replies with your suggestions and ideas . Just ordered the auto meter cobalt unit and will install it in one of my center AC vents using an adapter . I could not figure out what order of magnitude the accuracy was to do the eco-boost swap so I will spend some time under the dash routing electrical and vacuum lines not such a bad thing !

I'm running the ecoboost gauge swap too. Super easy & clean install. It reads what I expect it to based on edelbrock's psi claims with the kit.
