Does any one have the OEM clutch spring that goes above the clutch pedal? I bought my car used, and they decided to take it out and never put it back before selling it. All I can ever find is a steeda spring online.

I can think of a few options.

- Steeda clutch spring and perch. I appreciate not everyone will want Steeda's

- Junk yard. Locate a donor car and take an OEM. eBay or in-person. When searching, aka clutch release spring. Specify Mustang. Ford has also sold tractors 🚜; they have assist springs to

- The most expensive option: Ford. It's my understanding Ford doesn't sell just the spring/perch. You have to buy the entire pedal assembly. The clutch assist spring is one piece of that

Edit,

Many prefer the Steeda spring over the OEM. The action of the OEM is often all or nothing: either the clutch is 100% on or off. Steeda's tends to give a more linear feel. Each person has their own sense. I'd try Steeda's first.

@Skye Nailed it.

Our Steeda 555-7027 Mustang Clutch Spring Assist and Spring Perch Kit (15-23) gives you the feedback to feather the clutch vs the on/off feel of factory. Our Description has the exact breakdown on how that difference is achieved.

Once thing to look out for: Will not fit the 2019-2020 GT350. Clutch spring incompatible with Ford Performance M-9452-M8 no-lift shift strategy.

Id go the Steeda. spring/perch. It takes 2 min to install and is immediately noticeable. The OEM has such an inconsistent feeling. I have the oem one kicking around I can look for if you are dead set on going that route

Another vote for the steeda spring/perch. Better clutch feel than stock.

Are you just looking for the spring itself?

I do still have my OEM spring I removed like 5 years ago, it sits in a jar looking at me. I would send it to you if you just need the spring.

This helps a ton! I didn't wanna rock without the clutch and was wanting a little bit of a lighter feel than what the steeda will probably have.

I would love that! If there is any way we could figure that out, let me know.
