Yep, and we're in the same boat my friend. We're out of town for awhile, and I was planning on ordering the wife a 2018 when we return March 4th. Well, that ain't happening now.

I'm going to resurrect this thread for a moment since I haven't seen my question directly answered anywhere else, sorry.

Does the window for placing an order span the entire period between when order banks first open until the day before order banks open for the subsequent model year? Or is there a gap?

There is a gap. In this case orders close for MY 2018 on March 2nd, but orders open for MY 2019 on March 12th.

The build site is always a little behind the order guide. I wouldn't expect the 2019 to be in the configurator until April at the earliest. Could be much later. They still don't even have PP2 in the 2018 configurator.

Anyone know when the order guide will be released? I suppose it's got to come out before the order banks open. At this point it's worth waiting a month to see what if anything changes with colors, options, and packages.

I think officially it comes out the day ordering opens up, but I think most dealers get it a couple days beforehand and it usually seems to leak on here even before then.

When will the 19s be hitting dealerships? July-ish? Wanted to buy an 18 GT this summer but since production ends in a week or 2 I'm wondering if all the 18s will be gone by then. Might be a stupid question but I was just curious.

Considering that there are still new 17's out there I think you will be safe.
