Is today the first day of production? I remember seeing something awhile back saying that 10/2/17 was the start of production for the 18MY. If so does anyone have pics of the first 18 built? Thanks

Pretty sure production is delayed.
Pretty sure it’s not, the 2 weeks that the plants are stopped is last week and week starting somewhere around oct 20 if I remember correctly.

So what about those guys whose prod dates went from 1st week of Oct to last week of November?

My dealer said my order is scheduled for production 10-2-2017.

"I want the truth" "You can't handle the truth" So which is it?

Are any of you guys getting any discounts/deals or if you are paying full MSRP? I've been waiting to find out more about the PP2 and also waiting for the newness to wear off a bit in hopes for some decent rebates. I'd be surprised if you are since the car isn't even out yet. However, there is a dealer in Ohio I saw advertising $3.5k off MSRP on some 2018's they've ordered in.

I'm gonna be doing X-Plan plus the X-Plan incentives, also the new graduate reward thingy.

Did you get that agreement in writing? Just be careful. Usually the dealerships will tell you that they will give you any incentives that are available at the time of delivery but not before the ordering.

However, when I bought my truck a couple years ago, the dealership offered me the USAA price AND any additional incentives at the time of delivery which turned out to be yet another $1000 off.

I recently signed up for MCA, so after 60 days, I'll be eligible for the X-Plan.

I have one dealer offering 2k below invoice, and a couple others offering 1k below. Of course that's before their $700 doc fee, but it's still better than x-plan. They willl also honor any incentives available at delivery.

Nobody here should be paying MSRP since X-plan is easy to get (see order thread) unless all your dealers are... not nice.

The first dealer I' approached told me that they would beat X-plan on an order. I've yet to get any numbers in writing since I'm spinning my wheels deciding between TY/OF. :frusty:

Mind sharing the name/link for the Ohio dealer?

Next month is Veterans Day,so they may double the incentive to $1000. They did in June for some reason when I bought my EB but it was $500 last week when I got the GT.
