Anyone else notice that the base price for a 2017 GT350 went up a few hundred dollars in the past day or two to $54,570 instead of $54,295? I thought that was strange.

I started pricing GT350's a few months ago, and from then to now, Prices on 2017's are UP UP UP. The hype around this car is flowing everywhere. So glad I got my order when I did! Now it just needs to hurry up and get here!

Yeah I was looking at my window sticker and my base price is $54,295.00.

If you build your own the base price is $54,570.00.

My DORA shows the lower number Woo Hoo.

I just picked up my car on Saturday and it was $54,295 base price. I think as long as you ordered before price increase you should be okay. Im sure all new orders though gonna get the increase.

FWIW, I ordered a 2016 GT350R on July 6th, 2015 and got a VOC on July 9th, 2015 and then finally took delivery on April 19th, 2016.

During that ~10 month period the base price of my car took two price increases for a total increase of $1189 subject to local taxes.

Had I not caught and questioned the increase in price I would have paid an extra ~$1365.00 to the dealership.

Keep a close watch on your original purchase prices as increases do take place during each MY.

That sounds about right. I just got my weekly update from my dealer - really a nice GM that is local. The blend date is 9/20 and the order was placed in early August. My sticker generated just a couple days ago showed the higher price. I sent a note back to the dealer asking about this and he said that Ford protects the price at the time of the order. Ford reimburses the dealer for the difference in the invoice cost. It is kind of refreshing doing business with these people.
