The only time the radio comes on is when I'm cruising on the freeway in 6th gear. Someone should figure out how to set the radio to go mute as soon as the exhaust opens up.

Now that it is official (?), the new base 2017 MY only confirms what most have said here for months - this is the way the car should have been offered in 2015/16 MYs. This also proves that Ford made a big mistake in not providing (at least an option for) a cooling package on base/tech models. I have read several posts that Ford is "working on" a fix for the earlier models. Considering the number of posters who are cancelling their orders for 2016 cars, because the new model includes standard coolers, you would think Ford would "officially" come out and provide the "fix" as soon as possible. Let's face it, Ford changed the base model to include the track package, only because of complaints from customers who have experienced limp mode situations in their cars. I sincerely hope those who have better access to information than I, are correct and Ford will do the right thing.
