They are already up to VIN 3900. If the info is correct, is the 3500 total units sold or number sold in the US.Asked my sales guy today about the MY17. He confirmed it is happening, but did not comment about the leaked data (and whether it was accurate)
He suggested (OK, let the flamers start here) that once they get past the racing homologation number (~3500), they intend to stop production. Seems weird, but just passing on what I heard today. This guy has been selling Ford specialty vehicles for 30 years. His info has been unusually accurate. FWIW
Afaik, the VIN #'s are not an exact count. They have skipped numbers in the sequences. They are already up to VIN 3900. If the info is correct, is the 3500 total units sold or number sold in the US.
The VINs aren't necessarily even close. For my first GT 350, the spread of VINs built the same day was more than 800.Afaik, the VIN #'s are not an exact count. They have skipped numbers in the sequences.
So just because your VIN is 3900 doesn't mean there is 3900 built. It's much closer to like 2100-2200 last I checked. The VINs aren't necessarily even close. For my first GT 350, the spread of VINs built the same day was more than 800.
