The good thing about these flaws is that when the urge hits us to work on our cars but we've already blown the monthly mod budget, then we can still find something to align better.

Partly cloudy? Nah, it's partly sunny out, man!

My trunk lid was like that, dealer adjusted it & it's a lot better (but still a little low).
Seems to be a common issue, I see it on a lot of cars sitting on the dealer lots.
Do you have any pictures of the before and the after?

No before pics. I went to take delivery, blue tape in hand & marked all the misaligned panels (pass door, trunk, hood, pass ft fender). Took 3 passes for them to get it all reasonably aligned. They were a bit taken back when they came out & saw the car festooned with blue tape, but admitted it was a better idea than a list

Here are the current pics - 1st the drivers side (slight droop still there) & the last is the pass side (pretty much spot on).

That's not bad at all, great job. I will attempt to adjust shortly, and post pictures. The only bolts I will be adjusting are the four attached to the hinges on the trunk, and two on the front fenders for hood alignment.

If only it stopped raining...

I think on mine, I need to raise the trunk latch a bit because the lid is sitting a bit low on one side.

Ive bitched about this exact sort of thing on my '15 which there's to many of us with little naggy issues of panel fit, but some of you just go full retard about it to the extent I don't know how you find yourselves able to leave your houses and function in the world.

Im in australia some people are paying 85k for these cars, i think the best you can get a GT for is around 65k and wait a year+ for i dont expect lambo build quality but dont want it look like its just been repaired
With poor panel alignment

I recently went to our local greatwall dealership if i had to be truthful i was very impressed with the build quality of there range it was very exceptable

Im yet to see a mustang that has been exceptable its just not good enough not for a 65-85k car they need to sort it out.

I know a few guys that are not happy and going by what ive read they are not alone

What do we expect for a 65k car a lot better than this

If its like 1/16 inch off, I dont really care. Mine is 1/4 inch off. That's a huge difference.
