Is it possible to call the dealer and nudgeaddle: them into changing the priority code? Would it even matter? If anyone knows.....:(

What is the priority number on your DORA? If it's a 10, that's as low as it goes. This might help get you up to speed on Ford's ordering system. Article is for Ford pickups, but the process/procedure is the same:

It seems that getting it built isn't much of a problem now, but for some of us, getting it delivered to the dealer IS.

At the dealership now, quality looks good. Rear window looks to be damn close on both sides. What I'm not happy about is it came with 43 miles on it. :frusty: Must have went through QC? :shrug:

Still waiting on mine. It's been sitting at the local rail yard for over a week now :( Won't be long until the train journey from MI to CA will have been shorter than the time it is taking to deliver it the 30 miles from the yard to the dealer.

I think we've talked about this already, mines been stuck at the yard as well. In Mira Loma, its literally a freakin 30min drive from the YARD to the DEALER!

I just want to ask to go pick it up myself, cause from the YARD to my HOUSE its 15min :frusty::rant:

My priority code is 11, just wrote to my dealer and said bump it to 10 PLEASE! From my very cursory understanding, from 11 to 10 won't matter as it's just a difference in priority for the dealer, not among other cars in the line at Ford? I dunno, just trying to speed up the WAIT period when it sits in limbo gathering dust and looking sad.

It may help though, MultiMediaWill has a priority code 10, same order date, VIN date, and was assigned a 10/1 build whereas I got a 10/26 build date.... but mine is convertible so even more variables....

Hope yours gets moving sooner than mine did... 11 days in Area 51 to load on a rail car. Today makes 10 days in transit. Was requested "CONVOY" on the order, and window sticker printed "CONVOY". "Still a few bugs in the system."

Yes on the priority code. And in reality, the dealer can start that number anywhere between 10 and 98. So if you had a 50, and it was his first number, you'd be first in line from THAT dealer. Size of the dealer has an effect on how soon it gets built too.

Just hang in there, I'm sure it'll get built soon enough, just hope it doesn't take forever after it's built to get it to the dealer like some here have been experiencing. Today makes 3 weeks to the day it was built and passed QA... still no car. "Supposedly" the ETA was updated to 10/1 yesterday. Yeah...r-i-i-i-g-h-t.

Mine said convoy just got an email from dealer saying its on a train from flatrock. And then will get trucked to the dealer. So I think convoy just means final leg of transport. Hell might not mean a damn thing and they just pick a mode when it finishes production.

Method of Transp. on the sticker will show one of 2 methods: RAIL or CONVOY.

Hell might not mean a damn thing and they just pick a mode when it finishes production

Officially a while back was 10/17 but Friday he said they got an invoice and he said usually that means 7-10 days to when it will show up. Would love for it to be earlier but unable to get a verified earlier date from him. Waiting on Deysha to go through her more than likely endless list of PMs to find mine and hopefully have some tracking info. So right now its anytime between the 10/17 and now.

So true, everyone's build time and RAIL transit time were solid. Couldn't ask for it any quicker. But now... Now all of our cars are sitting at yards for more then a week.

And im still waiting...

Ugh. EDD got pushed back from 9/29 to 10/16. 46 days from production and an extra half month added to the delivery date seems excessively long. Just hoping for no more delays as I'll be out of town for a week on the 17th.

It was just put out to await shipment yesterday, MDRN.

Car arrived this afternoon. Picking it up tomorrow. Will get pics up asap. The wait is over! :clap2::ford:

Ordered mine 9/17, got a VIN on 9/25 - not much else at the moment, trying to get more info on build ETA etc.

What is this issue with the rear windows I see ppl telling those taking delivery to watch for ?...

I did. Sent a copy to Ripley's Believe it or Not. They sent it back saying, "We don't believe it!". If you get yours before I get mine, I'm REALLY gonna be pissed! 3 months, 17 days and counting. Maybe I should have taken the F150 that COTUS said I ordered. It was delivered in July! Customer Service e-mailed today... ETA is now 10/1.* Keep that shrink's name and number handy.

NO! Tomorrow... rain is NO excuse! ;)

My build date was the 9/15. Shipped out on 09/17.
ETA is 09/29 (today) is my ETA.
Just called the dealership and they said nothing has shown up. Hoping the ETA didn't change. The sales manager is off today so they are having to wait for the general sales manager to track it for me. If they can't get the GSM to track it I won't know a status till tomorrow unless it magically shows up today.
I sent a PM to Deysha.

Both of them are already at the last rail yard waiting on a truck to pick them up and deliver them, guys.

We all need Deysha... Lol mine is on its way so my dealer says but no specifics on how just sometime soon. I know I'll be happy in one week even two from now. Just not knowing when is killing me. Definitive dates are what keep us sane here. Deysha is probably overloaded right now. [emoji14]

Have your dealer contact the trucking company and see when they’ll pick it up, XDsm.

Checked with the dealer today and they feel the car will come in between Wednesday 9/30 to Tuesday 10/6. Also reminded them no front plant and mechanical prep only. Will be out of town during this period but cruddy weather moving in so no biggie. :ford::usa:

It was just released from the plant yesterday, vder. It should be put out to await shipment soon.

The fact that it had 43 miles is normal for a vehicle that was selected at the factory for quality checks/runs, angermgmt14. Normally there is a paper inside the vehicle stating so.
