The base car still has premium features over my Focus SE I traded. It is far from 'stripped.'Sync 3= Only for Premium
California Special: Also only for Premium
2016 Exterior: Unchanged except for maybe stripe packages or rims
No premium for the V6
Keep something in mind that Ford wants people to buy the premiums. They have "base" cars as a means of keeping the price of entry into specific power trains at a reasonable level (33,000 for the GT's, 26,000 for the EB's). They have very little interest in adding features to the base as it would progressively remove reason to buy the premiums.
That may be only the CS, which is what Ford's been teasing.2016 will have turn indicator display on the hood
My car as the indicators on the mirror now, but that's a Premium package feature on the EB and the GT.I wonder if the 2016 V6 and Ecoboost will have the turn signal on the mirrors? Do those make a difference having them or not? Are they becoming standard equipment on new cars? I guess the 2016 GT wouldn't have those since they are on the hood?
I can now save money by not buying the $700+ navigation through Ford and just using Google Maps/Waze while I use SiriusXM. That's precisely what I wanted and it will be possible with SYNC3. :clap2:Ford will look for ways SYNC can work more closely with the systems from Google and Apple. If a customer wants to use, say, Google’s maps but listen to Sirius radio through SYNC, Ford will make that possible, Nair said.

It's standard on all GT's and GT Premium's now.My guess is the hood indicators are CS only package, not base or premium GT.
I have that painted "Nickel-Luster" finish on my 50th Anniversary car. It's nice, definitely, but it's disappointingly not chrome; it doesn't shine and sparkle in the sun the way you want wheels to do. Wheels are jewelry for your car, and they should glitter as much as any diamond bracelet or gold chain. It's definitely a letdown.Pretty exciting that there will be Argent wheels for the PP. That matters to me a WHOLE lot more than does Sync 3. End the ugly!

Everything about your comment is one big disappointment.I have that painted "Nickel-Luster" finish on my 50th Anniversary car.
