The track pack on the 13/14 'Stangs were only available on Manuals. The brembo brake package was available on GT Autos but didn't include the boss 302 radiator from the track pack. The v6 had the option of the performance package in Auto(that was a first on the 13/14's). Who knows? Maybe us limited edition owners might have exclusivity forever!

The Track Pack was manual only. One of the reasons why I went with the Brembo package instead.

Not rarely, I don't think it will receive an up or we would have heard of something by now.
Plus they specially said that camaro is not their competition... So they won't make them selves contradict their statement by going at a horsepower war with Chevy.

Ford's "going in a different direction" is all about handling. They aren't interested in pure HP anymore. They want to create cars that will out-handle the competition. IMO, they already do with the Challengers.

I heard the new 5.2L flat plane crank engines will be available for the 2017 models as well as HUD!! I think I'll just trade this one in a couple of years!!

I doubt 2017, the GT350 is a 2016 model that won't even start shipping until December or so this year. They wouldn't alienate the special vehicle after 1 year of production.

I think you'll be way more likely to see a 3.5L ecoboost turbo option before the Voodoo in the Mustang. Especially with the Ford GT using the 3.5 ecoboost (albeit twin turbos); but making 600hp.

I think you could easily see a 500hp 3.5 ecoboost in the next few years. But there is a lot of room left in the 5.0 still for power as modders have shown.

I mentioned this earlier, but I talked to my dealer, and both my sales guys and service manager didn't know of any dates yet, but honestly that didn't surprise me.

Yes, May 11th still the first day to order 2016 Mustangs. Job 1 is still slated for early August, as well.

Won't be an option in 2016, so you may as well get a 2015. However, 2015 ordering is over in less than a week so hurry up if you're placing an order!

Thank you for the input. You know this for sure it sounds like. Question - if I order a 2015 which is the tail end of the model year - how long do you think it will take for delivery? I'd like to have by the end of June. It seems like I would save a couple of grand getting a 2015 with the incentives + $750 coupon in hand. I guess I give up Sync 3 but I don't think that's worth not having for this summer and the price difference.

Ordering a 15 right now means you should have it by July at the latest, assuming your dealer still has allocation.

It's really crazy to me that we have zero official details on options and pricing aside from the awesome info Five Oh Brian has been providing. This wait before the actual wait is horrible.
