interesting to see the different stages for the new Roush..very surprised they're still going to do the "RS" for the 3.7....and I'm guessing the RS3 will be equipped with an SC?
Cant remember where I saw it at yesterday, but yes, the Stage 3 will have the supercharger....:headbang:

When they mean that the Roush Stage 1 is $5895 above base vehicle, do they mean the base Ecoboost with no options?

If you could choose in the future which parts you would like to purchase by Roush for your 2015 Mustang, what would they be?

1. All?

2. None?

3. Certain parts?

My choice's would be...

1. The Brake Rotos.

2. The Wheels.

3. The Exhaust W/ Rear Valence.

4. The Hood Heat Extractors.

5. Possibly the SuperCharger, over the Whipple, only if the Strut Tower Brace fits over the Roush.
I'd like an Ala Carte menu deal too! MY wife has already said that she wants one, so that's always a Great thing, but I don't want to go overboard in pricing out a car! Usually it's the other way around....She has to reign me in! :D

I'd do the rear valance/Quad exhaust too (especially if active), the rear deck spoiler (I like how aggressive it is) and the heat extractors too (body colored or carbon fiber. THe wheels are Gorgeous too!

I think that it would be a Great idea if Roush or someone else would sell different types of extractors that would replace the stock ones instead of having to do a whole hood. Are these direct replacements or do you have to buy the whole hood?

It's debuting at SEMA, per their instagram.

+1

Also, will x-plan be valid on these?
X-Plan is valid on the cost of the Mustang model used BEFORE the Roush upgrade. At least that's how they did it on the 427 I had.

You don't have to replace the hood to use the ROUSH extractors.

I rather have sex with a ape and get Aids before I'd buy this trash. The front bumper wasn't even thought out.. as if they use nothing but a ruler/hard edge lines to make it. It screams s197 in the front.

Side scoops/Vents... I can live with.

Rear Bumper- They're camera men are a work of art, because the one Shot of where most people will be looking at this car looks hideous with the rear lip. If I ever see one of these at a group meeting or so forth... I might laugh and walk away.

I still have to see how the Saleen will turn out, but so far I am putting RTR in 1st place. Saleen 2nd Place until otherwise.. 3rd Roush... 4th Cervini( my luck they'll probably fit this car the best) Simply because they always make horrible looking Kits.

RTR FRONT END LOOKS BUSTED UGLY. Saleen front end is even uglier. Rough front end is slightly better than both of those but not by much

The fogs were not an after thought...look at the lines.

It's big and open to get air over the intercooler for the supercharged car.

Another little tid-bit for anyone interested -- you may notice something unique about the space between the front tire and fascia in regards to those outer pockets.

The lines in the front end are a forced continuation of the stock lines into the rousch "overbite" which then quickly tries to mash into an s197 style.

I'll point out the glaring problems:

1) the lower "eyelid" ended the headlights are forced into a steep grade decline that looks almost comical when viewed from the 3/4 angle in which you can clearly see how it does not flow at all with the side.

This is done to accommodate the last ten style grill which simply doesn't work for this car. It needs either a smaller opening, or a trapezoidal style of.f some sort to keep the headlight lines flowing properly.

It's actually pretty shocking to see this kind of "art school mistake" in a major production unit from such a reputable company.

2) the fog light placement and lower grill design. This looks 100% like a fisher price cheap plastic toy was bought and bolted in place. The smooth plastic / polyurethane / whatever simply doesn't work here and the little strip at the top with the license plate holes...Really??? Incredibly tacky.

And the location of the fogs. This isn't 1960 and the car has moved past the pure retro stage. The fogs belong on the outside not the inside. It gives the front end a needlenosed, squished, comical appearance. At the very least, with more radical shape of the fog light housings forced upon the front end by the grill design, they could have used a shaped fog or a modern LED strip shaped fog. And put it in the housing. Now that housing is simply blank plastic. And they could have pulled the lower grill much further back to look like an opening instead of a plastic brick wall with two round fogs in square holes. Lol. It would have also made room to add grill horizontal bars to complete the look. But no... Flat cheapo looking plastic.

So much wrong with the front end.

And yet... So much right with other parts of the car. The rear end is sweet. The spoiler is perfect. The badging is sleek. The wheels are the best I've seen on the s550. The read diffuser is perfect. The quad tip exhaust. And even the Saleen style bars in the grill replacing the nasty honeycomb ford has become so attached to (though the grill shape and dimensions itself...)

The car looks fine viewed from the back, side, and top. The problem come when viewing the car from the front or 3/4 side where you can see from the bottom of the headlamps and downward.

Actually... Come to think of it, rousch can save the front end rather cheaply. All they have to do is relate fogs back to the stock location and add the horizontal bars to the lower grill area.

Would change the whole look of the front end.

Please someone from rousch be on this forum... Lol

What? The rendering of the RTR front end is so minimal from OEM how in the world is it ugly? I mean literally it just looks like the Lower portion has been slightly changed and linear halo lights in the Grill... Roush trash looks so cheap and Half assed in the front I have no words for it.

Meh oh well your opinion... RTR renderings so far are still at the top of my list with the Roush being an afterthought.
