2015 mustang question

Today I bought a base premium with a few k miles for 27k, the only regret is going with w409 tires instead of Hakkapelittas I had on my last car. Just installed x pipe, just shopping for mufflers now.

Just wondering if the 2015 Premiums came with the shaker stereo with the 400a package? Mine has it, I thought it was only on the 401a, or does that just add two speakers and a sub. Either way it's going in for JL speaker replacements and subs. Sat in a '17 and I couldn't tell a difference between the '16s and the '15 apart from the lethargic sync 2

The 400A has the 9 speaker Shaker w/o the sub. 401A goes to 12 speakers (including sub).

Congrats on the new car! You will love it. Blizzak WS80's have been awesome on this car here in the Chicago winters.

For axlebacks, there's a few great options to make it either just solidly loud (but not obnoxious at all) or to make it LOUD, given that you already the x-pipe resonator delete.

Decently loud:
Corsa Touring
FRPP Touring or Sport
Borla S-type (a little louder than the first two)
ARH
SLP LM2
Pypes Pro-Touring

LOUD:
Corsa Sport (I have this but with the resonator still in place)
Roush AB
Borla ATAK
Solo AB
Any muffler delete or muffler replacement with bullet resonators

Thanks, the muffler shop is willing to weld on some flowmaster 40's at 175 a side, are the other systems a larger diameter then stock?

Careful with those. They will drone quite a bit.

I got the Shaker, 12 speaker. My low end hearing is pretty shot, but the steering wheel and the armrests tell me the bass is pretty good.
