2015 mustang phone button question

The phone button on the steering wheel. I was thinking when you pressed it that it gave you options on who to call. Today when I tried to make a call all it said was redial for my last number. I reset the Sync and even reset my phone. Am I simply misremembering and maybe I’m thinking of the voice to chat feature?

You're thinking of the "voice control" button. It's the side view of a face with sound waves coming from the mouth area.
It's covered in the owners manual in the using Sync section. It's several pages so too much to post. Owners manuals can be downloaded free online if you don't have the physical one in the secret compartment.

Ok thanks! So the actual phone button is definitely just for redial? I was thinking it brought a list up of contacts.

I looked in the manual and I did see the voice thing but nothing about the other button. Thanks

The phone button is to answer an incoming call or to terminate a call. I guess if it will allow redial that's a bonus.
