It's the anniversary... gotta have some special colors apart from standard 9 choices. Also need a special interior color too. Something other than white w/guardsman blue stripes please.

Sonic Blue. My all time favorite color on a mustang.

Smoked Quartz (from the MKZ)
Deep Impact/Performance Blue
Tuxedo Black - new black with tri-coat (think Black Diamond from Cadillac)

Sunset and Dark Side are ugly. Dark side would be better if they got rid of the green flake and kept it more navy blue IMO, and Sunset is reminiscent of a shiny penny, or the older copper color used on the Edge.

Ford needs to get off the monochrome wagon and offer a few more choices. I'd like to see the Mustang move to 10-12 color choices. Also, if you order a car and put a deposit down, you should be able to get any color and stripe combo you want (for the SVT models). I still maintain a GHIG GT500 with gloss black stripes would have been fantastic.

When was there a purple factory color offered for the Mustang?

I'd like to see one in green and that electric blue BMW color.
The Mustang hasn't had a true dark blue in years. Look at any "dark blue" Mustang from the last ~10-15 years in low light (such as an overcast/rainy day) and they look purple.

It's hard to find a dark blue anywhere that doesnt look purple under some low lighting not just for Mustangs. The ones I have seen like that lean more turquoise than dark blue. A midnight blue that isn't too black would be great.

Also this is how you do brown:

Highland Green - PX, Chrome Yellow - PZ, Vibrant Red - ES but I am biased :)

In reality and supporting the "European market" theme, I think Ford should offer a brown tone:

Anything resembling this car in any way shape or form is a good thing.

Smoked quartz looks great iin some lighting but purple hue in others. Same goes for deep impact blue. Ditto to others that say we need a true dark blue.

Agree they need to break out of the monochrome, but I hope they still offer the Sterling Gray and Ingot Silver. Those should be big sellers overseas as they love their silvers/grays there.

I was on the Customizer website and would actually love to see Ford offer this type of experience for selecting options and colors. This would be a huge marketing tool and I would pay a premium to do a completely customized color.

I would like to see something that looks like the Orange used on the 1970 Boss 302.

One of the most beautiful cars of all time, IMO. Not bad for a brand new offering.
