I ended up going with Mac Haik in Georgetown since my cousin is a finance manager there I got it for invoice. Should I shop this price around?

It's simply not true. Check my original build sheet on the first few pages of this thread. It was deleted out of the order sheet. One thing I've found out of all my experience with buying cars in nearly ANYTHING can be done.
EDIT: What you should do is have him write on the order sheet then that the dealership is not to affix the front bracket. Explain politely that you will refuse delivery if it's done. BTW, is Louisiana a front plate state? If it is maybe he has to. My state isn't but dealers still love to advertise using front plates. Either way, it obviously can still be done.

I just realized something strange that may answer why some people's orders aren't showing on Ford's tracker. For whatever the reason, when I look up my order using my iPhone and safari web browser it immediately shows up in the system. However, when I use my Dell laptop with Internet Explorer to look up my order sheet it comes up not found.
I don't know why this would happen but it definitely does. It seems the browser or device has an effect on your order sheet. So maybe try to pull it using different devices.

Wow. Microsoft must really be not taking their breakup with Ford very well... I kid...
On a serious note, I was able to pull my order up using IE. I think their website is just a bit screwy.
Yep, same device (Lap Top) Was showing up then stopped yesterday. Tried IE today and its there but not on Chrome. Just tried it on Fire Fox, working fine.

Anyone have a good experience ordering from a dealer in the Phoenix, AZ area? I've called 7 (SEVEN!) in my area and I'm getting all sorts of answers from "can't order until June 3rd", to "We have no order guides yet", to "we can order it but we don't know price", to "what is a ford mustang?", to "no xplan pricing for that car" and it goes on and on.

One thing to do is educate them on certain things. Tell them that if you have prices, then they should certainly have it. Tell them that they have to use the CONCEPS system versus the online ordering website. X-plan is at dealer discretion, so as far as I know, they don't have to honor that even on vehicles that are eligible via Ford.

Unfortunately it didn't help me, I just tried my order number using IE, Chrome, Firefox AND Safari, but no luck.
I called Ford Service 800-392-3673 and asked her to check on my order. She told me something that I didn't know already, she told me that there are several vehicles on my order number - B001 from my dealership F24223 - and two of them are Mustangs. She said dealers often place multiple orders under the same order number and I won't be able to track my car through the website until I have a VIN. That may have something to do with why some people can see their status and others can't. How would that website know which car is mine if there are multiple cars on that order. Other dealerships may order each car individually, with its own order number. For those orders, it is possible to identify the vehicle and specific information. Just a guess.

Awesome, that makes absolute perfect sense! I'm betting that without you knowing it, you got the same thing I did where your order got tossed into the dealer allocation order, so you'll be getting it when the car hits the lot instead of having to wait. That's just a guess, but I think it's a good one.
