Order Type: X simply means you're using X-Plan. It has nothing to do with your priority or place in line in other words. "Priority" is for that and 10-19 is regular retail orders.

Awesome, thanks for the explanation! I am indeed using X-plan and my priority is 10, so I'm at the head of the line. Had my order in on 5/20 and was lucky enough to slide into the dealer allotment because they hadn't even submitted theirs yet.

Congrats! I would be hesitant to let the dealer use it for this launch party..I can see lots of people putting their hands on it or leaning on it to take a picture...just me.

I understand...and asked. They assured me it would be okay...and its a small town dealer...town of 3k. Basically, they are going to put a cover on it, do a speech, uncover it, do pics. Yea, I expect some handprints but the deal (financials) will take place after so if anything is wrong, it should be taken care of.

Hey, it is some sort of risk I am sure...but what the heck...a chance for a few first pics of my car in her own spotlight. I thought it was cool.

Edit: But no really though I've come to terms with it. I live in Alabama so I understand that most people in this state by trucks so mustangs don't sell much. That being said we wont get many so it's not all that surprising that I saw such a mark up and if I miss it there is not garauntee I'll even be able to get one much less a better price.... besides its just money! What good does it do you if you can't enjoy it?! I've ordered one of the few things that is unique and I truly want. So as long as I get my car I'm happy. I won't cry too long over that 10k.

Haha no you'll be fine! You're getting a true rarity. That's awesome! The 50th is the biggest deal for Mustang. Not 20, 25 or those poor 40th guys that no one cares about! Unless Mustang makes it to 100 which is doubtful, this is it!

If you change your mind you can always get your deposit or re-negotiate to an extent when it arrives. Although, I doubt you would walk away from her after your first glimpse. Enjoy it!

I live in AL as well, and I didn't order one over 10k msrp
Did the dealer screw you over or what? And I've seen a lot of '05-'14 model Stangs around, but mainly trucks (and I CAN'T stand it!! The truck part that is...)

I may end up changing this prior to build schedule lock, once final pics of interior options or the web build and price is live. There continues to be a lot of questions on Options 88S and 68B (Recaros and Redline interior) but I’ll have to see photos to know for sure.

Does anyone know what prevents the spare tire option?

I guess I'll live without a spare, but was wondering what I ordered that prevents that from being allowed. The order system didn't have that information.
