2015 Mustang Appearances

It left me feeling a little flat. Could have been since it was an Eco boost with no badges and the machined silver wheels it looked a bit plain. Not bad by any means, but just missing something that made it pop.

I was planning on white or ingot silver.

I owned a 2011 Performance White Mustang and I can understand your feeling. It was a great color but it never had that satisfying "pop" to the car like my prior two black Mustangs before which I could make almost a mirror finish in and just looked spectacular in the sun.

That's why I'm so excited about Kona Blue. At night it has an almost black with blue highlights. Then during over cast and darker days it a darker more subdued color but in the sun it's almost like an electric blue.

They can go with the Evo concept, I'm OK with that. It's still a muscle car and maybe I don't want everything to fit under the hood. Maybe I'll want a big ol' carbon fiber ram air hood. I don't even know. All I see are renders that change the wheels, badges, colors and stripes. My imagination is not being challenged by the industry yet. Struts axles, exhaust, springs, sure, but where's the eye candy?

They are not. This was discussed in another thread yesterday and I pulled the VINs and put them into COTUS. Still "In Production".

I personally prefer the ringed led tail lights on the '13 & '14 Mustangs instead of the new bar design. I hope this will be an aftermarket option. Hey Raxiom, hint...hint!

The 13/14 taillights belong in Fast and the Furious..

The 13/14 tails are some of the best tail lights in modern Mustang history. The '05-'09 are boring and the 2010-2012 are cartoonish and hideous. Before the 13/14 came along, the SN95 New Edge held the title of best tail lights on a modern Mustang. I like that the 2015s resemble those a bit.
