You're mad about a 2015 mustang with less than 50miles being 35k? Please tell me how do you sleep at night knowing there are 2015s still being sold for 30-33k with over a 1k miles. The deals you're looking for probably won't happen till the end of the 2017s....

It's not even where you live. They can run your credit with just your driver's license, and often do.
They cannot run your credit without your approval.

IDK it just seems a little over priced considering it has the old Sync.

Yes, no test drive. My brother and I left baffled that they did not want to let me test drive it. I guess me saying that I am looking to purchase the care in the next few weeks didn't sit well with them
Orlando? Which dealership was that?

Who said he's mad? I'd laugh at their dumb asses too. That's it, stupid, keep the car on the lot for 50,000 years, paying interest on it the whole time, because you're too greedy to get right on the price. I had a similar situation with the '14 fiesta st I bought in late '15. They had the car for well over a year. Whole GENERATIONS of spiders were living in webs between the tires and the ground. Unlike the dealer in question here, they were willing to get right on the price. They made a sale instead of being the butt of jokes. Guess which approach benefited them more?

I got my '16 GT PP for 33K after friends n family discount(or whatever they're calling it these days). But that was in November of '15. Im sure things changed since then.

Kinda F'ed they didnt let you test drive it. I tested like 5 'stangs before I settled on my Guard. When my son wasn't with me I drove them HARD too.

Some salespeople can be such douches...

Sure they can. Are they supposed to? No. But they do it anyways.

Your deal sounds so good. Way better than what the dealer was trying to give me for a base gt yesterday.

Get aggressive with them. I wet to 5 dealers total. If they weren't talking the numbers I liked I was out the door.

Usually a lot of sales people are super hungry at non premium dealerships and want to make a deal.

I bought my 15 GT Base AT for $27,800 with 30 miles on it. Maybe it's a regional thing?

it's probably better to try for a deal over the phone. Once you drive over a dealership, they can waste your time, and you are more likely to cave because its a hassle to drive back home or over to another dealership where you will likely get more of the same.

In this case, OP can come up with a price he thinks is fair, at least to him, call up the dealership and tell them he is interested in a particular car, and whether they will consider $X. If not, he can try again next week or next month. They may be a more eager seller by then if the car hasn't moved.

What's a good discount for a 2015 at this point? $1500? $2000 ?
